Can we get pictures? You also have to elaborate on the description. Can you cock it? Does it stay cocked? Can you pull the trigger, but nothing happens? Or will the trigger just not budge?

Step 1: Throw TTG against wall.
Step 2: Drive to Toy Store.
Step 3: Buy a NF.

You have most likely done one of the following:

1.) Replaced the plunger upside-down.
2.) Added a stronger spring, such that the catch spring cannot keep the gun cocked
3.) Lost the catch spring when you opened the gun.

It is also possible, though HIGHLY unlikely, that your gun is actually broken.

Please post a picture of the internals (inside of the gun), to receive a certain answer.

Open the gun back up. Check to see if either 1) The catch spring is missing. Or 2) The catch is in the wrong spot.

And, unline 1337, I like the TTG. My friend prefers his to the Nitefinder.

The trigger doesn't hit the plunger. When the trigger moves backwards, it pushes the catch up out of a slot on the plunger.

From the mods section:

Another possibility from what Gengar was saying is that if you added a stronger spring, the plunger may not move back far enough to get the slot by the catch.

Also, make sure the catch plate is facing the right way. THe side with the flat tooth should be towards the back.

Blasphemy. I think you need to throw yourself against a wall, drive to store and buy yourself a brain.

My modded ttg gets great range and accuracy (actually, all of them do). Not to mention, they look and feel much better than nightfinders. They also fit in your pocket easier.

To the OP: As previously stated, spring replacement may need some trimming to fit properly. The plunger shaft could also be upside down. Look at the picture carbon posted and see if yours is facing the same direction as that one.

That probably because vista sucks. Go mac's.

Ya I'm preaty sure that the catch is misplaced.

I guess you have some heavy duty industrial strength toilet paper holders. Do they advise you to wear eye protection when changing rolls?

My TTG mod.

You see that little spring (in the pic above) up near the plunger? That probably flew out when you opened the gun up, it has happened to me numerous times. If you can't find it them you can get one out of a ball-point clicky pen. Those usually work.

Hope your gun turns into a beast!
