Half of me loves to deal with mechanics. Throwing together some crazy design that actually works is pretty cool (note that this stuff usually fails miserably in wars, but is fun nonetheless). Getting to know one gun extremely well, the nitefinder in this case, and making it perform the best that it possibly could.
The other half of me loves art. Not the abstract crap in art museums, but things like the statue of David. A fresh coat of paint on a Dodge Viper. Architecture that makes you wonder how it can physically stand. Well, this nitefinder fits me perfectly. Form and function:
Chopped off, hot glue filled, and coupler modded. The outer PVC is there to support the industrial spring by dispersing the force to the shell, not the screws that hold the plunger tube.
I love the simplicity, looks, and performance. This will see much war time.

Step 2: Drive to Toy Store.
Step 3: Buy a NF.
Blasphemy. I think you need to throw yourself against a wall, drive to store and buy yourself a brain.

I guess you have some heavy duty industrial strength toilet paper holders. Do they advise you to wear eye protection when changing rolls?

Yep, it's a 1/2" cpvc coupler. Like many of my mods, the cpvc coupler and the pvc over it are metal lathed down to fit perfectly. Then, each piece is set in place with all purpose pvc/cpvc cement.
The tricky part, to get the glue flat. First, I sprayed one half of the shell with lots of silicone spray on the inside. This prevents the glue from sticking to it. Next, I applied a liberal amount of hot glue. I think I probably used 10-15 sticks. Next, I took a utility knife with a brand new blade and cut the hot glue as close as I could to the shell. I used a drum sander for the curvy part. Next, I filled in the accidental deep cuts with Bondex Spackling Paste. After that, it's primer then sand, primer then sand. It takes time, but the results speak for themselves.

Agreed.
It's gorgeous. I don't think I have to say you did a good job.

This baby gets 250' + 25' because of the black paint.
I'm smelling a typo here. Titans get 250', not Nite Finders. Unless you just kick ass. But with that simple mod, it doesn't look capable of outshooting a Crossbow.

About how much are you holding in the pictures on the spools?
A shit ton.

Through Jacobson's Theory Of Awesome, adding black paint and or racing stripes to anything, will change it's molecular composition to that of pure awesome. With this new arrangement you gain unimaginable superpowers...
example
Dodge Neon - Suck
Dodge Neon with racing stripes - Awesome
Nitefinder stock - Meahh, it's ok
Nitefinder with Carrtoon black paintjob - I need to check my pants
It's science as you can tell.
In all seriousness, that NF is amazing.
Dodge Neon's with racing stripes on the other hand...not so much.
