I always thought that they had a mustard taste. But I've never had secret sauce (I'm assuming it's just catsup and mustard).

Secret sauce is a white sauce made with ketsup mixed with either mayonaise and buttermilk, ranch dressing and pepper, or many others.
I know someone thst used to work for McD's. The "secret sauce" is a slightly sweeter version of Russian dressing, similar to Thousand Island. It isn't mixed with anything else.

God... Don’t make remarks about bush in my threads. I believe bush is the second best president ever following Ronald Reagan. That and I are pretty sure the piney doesn’t like politics in his forum.

So after a few bags of these chips and some disputing, me and my firneds decided to call and ask if the 'secret' was secret sauce.
Hotline: Doritos customer service hotline, how may I help you?
Friend: Some friends and I recently tried your X-13D flavor chips and have the idea that the flavor to them is secret sauce you put on a hamburger. You know, ketchup, mustard, and thousand island dressing. So is it scret suace?
Hotline: Yes.

Friend: Wait, no...what the *choice words, blah blah blah, ver choice words....*
Hotline: *click*
So, that was a waste of minutes on my cell phone, but at least we got a laugh out of that. I wanted to call them back and put it on speaker phone and record it, but we felt the second time wouldn't be as funny.
