I just got a Big Bad Bow from target, and love the range, but I want to make it fire micro darts. I used the search on here and google, and got some nice mods to do. However, I would still like to be able to fire missiles when I want to. Is this possible, or should I just forget about it?

Before I nested mine, I used sch40 1/2" pvc and it fired micros and arrows.

Just bore out the stock barrel with a 11/16" spade bit. I recommend using a drill press to get it straight, through.
Then just ram your CPVC barrel into the stock one and shoot away.
If you bore out the hole straight enough, it works better than any coupler would.

I hate couplers. I can never get my barrels adjusted straight enough, and they always wobble around or fall off my blasters. That is why most of my mods involve doing something to the stock barrel and nesting something inside of it.

Or you could always saw off the front part of the stock barrel, put on your cpvc, then replace the stock barrel part that you cut off over the cpvc when the time comes to fire arrows.

Before I got CPVC I just shoved a crayola in the stock barrel and it worked with both arrows and stefans and stock micros. Also you can shoo stock megas out of the stock barrel. I will now probably use Commander Erik's idea.

If you use 9/16 brass with nested 17/32 brass you can rap electrical tape around it and put (push or kind of screw) it into the already existant barrel. Then when you want to shoot rockets you have a removeable barrel.

If you cpvc modded it, you can stick a coupler on the end of it. Just put the arrow on the coupler and shoot. Just make sure that your barrel isn't too long or the arrow won't go too far.

All I did is put some E-tape near the bottom of some PETG and voila! You can fire micros when you want, or simply take out the barrel and you can fire missiles. Just make sure it's snug enough that your barrel doesn't fly out instead of the dart.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?
