Sorry I don't have the internal pictures before I mooded it. I started this before I joined here. The mod is really easy so don't fret about pictures being taken after I modded it. Ok we open the gun up And cut off that big orange thing, cause we don't need it.
Note the silver thing in front of the pump is super slued in place so you have too carefully cut that off.
Then hot glue the air pump thing too the air tank like this
Also hot glue the seem that hooks the valve too the air tank(Sorry for not having the picture of this, but you can see it in the above picture. Now get some sort of barrel that you want, I used my piece of barrel that you take out when you mod the NF and used that.
It works really well. Now hot glue the barrel too where the big orange thing was, see above picture.
Now sand/cut out some of the gun casing too make it fit with the hot glue is done drying. Now put it back together and your done. now you have your self and air powered gun that used too be a water gun. Here's what it looks like when your done
The front now
The ranges are usually 65+ feet with a stefans and about 55-60 with stock darts.
So what did you guys think?

That depends on the air output of the gun. Since water guns usually reserve most of their storage space for water, you would need to hook the pump directly to the tank and then use the greater air capacity to propel the dart through a longer barrel. Is it posible to use a longer barrel to get higher ranges?

Step 2: Drive to Toy Store.
Step 3: Buy a NF.
Blasphemy. I think you need to throw yourself against a wall, drive to store and buy yourself a brain.

One question, is the airtank like other super soakers (an air bladder, in which case a longer barrel would definetly help) or is it like nerf guns, where all the air is released with the pull of the trigger?
There is no bladder. The air tank is plastic. Most of the air is released, only a little bit stays in the tank.

I wanted to convert a Super Soaker to a Nerf gun, but I have yet to find a store near me that stocks decent ones. Nice conversion.
Look at the Dollar Generals, Dollar Trees etc. My local Dollar stores have some xp 70's and xp 270's. I think it was 270 I don't remember exactly.

I don't know. I haven't seen the internals of that gun. I might try some cpvc later on. How long should the barrel be?I have this Arctic Shock Supersoaker. Would it work to mod it, and how would I do so?

Probably around 20 in. I'm not 100% positive though.
Unless you have really skinny darts, 20 inches would be way too high. You'd want a CPVC barrel around 12" long, though it depends how tight the fit is with your darts.

Oh, and 20 inches is WAYYYYYYYYYYYY to long. 10 or 12 will suffice fine.

I myself have a converted Super Soaker, though the guy I got it from was an idiot and made it a telescoping barrel, which from my understanding isn't too great for air powered guns.
You have to take into account that since he says past 30 pumps his dart freaks out and loses velocity, meaning that the air being pushed against the dart is moving too fast, so a longer barrel will help a lot.
Also, 20 in. doesn't seem to outrageous. As a practical weapon, this barrel would be outrageously hard to maneuver, though if you can sit 150 - 200 ft away, then there's no need. I have pumped my Converted SS till the point in which I couldn't pump anymore and it shredded my stock Tagger dart. Thats with an 8 in. CPVC barrel. The main factor in the barrel needing to be longer is that if he could actually completely compresses the most amount of air in his tank, then as far as I know it would have more psi than any of the bladders, stock or modded, on air powered nerf guns. This would be more since the bottle is meant to hold water and pressurized air, but without the water the space is enormous, especially when forced down a tiny barrel.
Use this thread if you guys want to get really technical about it.
IMO 20 in. isn't an outrageous amount, but if you have to take into consideration how many pumps you want in between shots. If you want 40 or 50 pumps, go with long, but if want 20 or 30 go with about a 8 or 10 in barrel probably.
Experiment.

20 inches isn't outrageous if your Stefans don't have a really tight fit in CPVC. If you have a looser, better fit for your Stefans, a 2' barrel would probably be what you would want. Look at people's Titan mods, they have huge barrels, but they all have a nice, smooth, looser fits for their darts.
If you want to use CPVC as a barrel, then go with Keks - Experiment. Start with a 20" barrel and test the range. Cut off an inch, test range, cut off another inch, etc. until you find the barrel length where you get the most range.
Then just make a new CPVC barrel at that length and there you go.
If you want to use both stock and Stefans, I'd suggest getting a PVC coupler, then get a PVC barrel (fits stock dart heads nicely) for stock darts, then nest your CPVC barrel in a bit of PVC so it fits in the PVC coupler.

CPVC will allow Stefans to be fired from the back of the barrel so more pressure can build up, but stock darts will only be able to be loaded from the tip.
PVC is the other way around, except it won't work with Stefans at all.
A PVC coupler would be the best if you want both stock darts and Stefans, as I said in my previous post.
