okay, so I just got 2 at2ks from my friend, and I have the supplies needed to mod them. I took all of the screws out, but the small area that covers the bit the pump goes into will not come off! (you know, the piece about 2 inches in front of the trigger guard.) It is not welded on, that much I am sure of. So what do I do? (I have already tried screwdrivers, X-acto knives, and saws)

The saw worked for me. Saw around the cap, but not too far. When you think you've done enough, grab a flathead screwdriver and pry it off. Easy.

I have modded several at2k's and the best thing to do is to just pull apart the two halves from the back of the gun until you can either pull the top half (assuming it has been lying on the ground or on a work bench) out or until you here a crack. Nine times out of ten you'll get a really neat crack on the top of that circular cap. After you put the gun back together you can't even tell it was ever cracked.

I sawed up the middle of the cap and then pulled the two halves apart. Thank you for all of your suggestions.
