Is this a new color scheme for the maverick or is this an older color scheme that isn't popular.
Ive only ever seen the blue and yellow color schemes but never this black one.
Its even black on the box so its not a paint job.
I actually really like it.

Yeah, it also helps if your nuts are made of steel. Or atleast as hard as steel, to ensure that you can shoot far enough.

That just looks like the old blue and yellow color scheme, the picture must have been taken with a crappy camera or poor lighting so it looks as if it is black. It's not.

Yea, it's actually the Blue and Yellow one. Look closely at the picture on the box, it's just a VERY poorly lighted picture.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but one of our members has the same type. Tis a new color scheme I believe.....
Or maybe my friend's maverick is poorly lighted.

On the box, the barrel is popped out more than normal, it has three out, not the normal two, maby they put the Rusian Rullet mod already in it. The picture I am talking about is in the lower right hand corner of the box. Any one else notice this.

It is, in fact, a poorly-lit blue/yellow Maverick. :(

The only available color schemes are blue body w/ yellow chamber, or yellos body w/ black chamber. I believe that the picture in the auction and the one your friend has are results from lighting issues.

Cennipe:
Hasbro wouldn't be stupid enough to pre-mod their guns for us and attract lawsuits. Depending on how you rotate the chamber on a stock Maverick, two or three whole barrels may be showing. Try it if you don't believe me.

Actually, It's like that on all boxes. I'm guessing that it was going to be like that, But they changed before release. I say this because if you look at at the back of the box you will see the entrire end of the plunger tube sticking out, Instead of the portion with a stock mav.

IT is a blue Yellow.

Frankly, I think the black yellow color scheme is terrible.

If it's any consolation yellow is a much easier color to repaint or dye than blue.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

But I hate the new color, it looks like a piece of construction equipment.

This way, you can get the yellow/black mav (which has a marginally larger spring in it) and get that benefit without worrying about it looking like "construction equipment."

I think something like that would be illegal in California, or pretty close to it. Yeah, lighting is bad.

If you're talking about painting it, then must not understand what you're saying. It's okay to paint a gun, just don't be a dumbass and run around with it in public, where people might think you're trying to kill someone.

Looks like bad lighting, and a bad camera. Any half decent camera would have a flash. or good enough quality to capture the blue.
