Ive only ever seen the blue and yellow color schemes but never this black one.
Its even black on the box so its not a paint job.
I actually really like it.

The only available color schemes are blue body w/ yellow chamber, or yellos body w/ black chamber. I believe that the picture in the auction and the one your friend has are results from lighting issues.Sorry to rain on your parade, but one of our members has the same type. Tis a new color scheme I believe.....
Or maybe my friend's maverick is poorly lighted.

If it's any consolation yellow is a much easier color to repaint or dye than blue.Frankly, I think the black yellow color scheme is terrible.

This way, you can get the yellow/black mav (which has a marginally larger spring in it) and get that benefit without worrying about it looking like "construction equipment."Trust me. If I go back to doing mavericks now and then, they will be painted.

If you're talking about painting it, then must not understand what you're saying. It's okay to paint a gun, just don't be a dumbass and run around with it in public, where people might think you're trying to kill someone.I think something like that would be illegal in California, or pretty close to it. Yeah, lighting is bad.
