I know there was a big topic on Nhq about this already, But I question their integrity. I was wondering if anyone here had thought of any decent mods for the new gun. I'm not super smart when it comes to mods. In Fact, back on NO there was a 2 or so page article on the science of modifications that Death (I think) wrote... I didn't understand a bit of it. Anywho does any-one know of anymods for this one. Post your results...etc

I haven't gotten one yet but I would think that modding it with a brass barrel for micro darts would improve range and accuracy. I'm sure once CX gets one he'll figure out if telescoping or straight works best. Since the gun is spring powered I'm going to venture a guess and say to try a telescoping brass barrel with maybe a spring enhancement or rubber bands (bands seem to be going out of style but fuck it, they work).

Bands should hopefully work best b/c stretching the spring on this gun is damn near impossible. I used PVC on mine with about an 8 in barrel and I'm getttin around 50' with zeros. It's about as good as my LnL's.

I also used pvc with mine (about 4 in.) but then I stuffed a crayola barrel down the pvc and now it goes about 70 ft with good red mini's.

Ok I just modded mine last night and here's what I did.
1. I detached the barrel and taped up all of the holes.
2. I removed the air restrictor in the back of the barrel.
3. I put a 1 in piece of size 17/32 brass over the little nub that you see (an extremly tight fit, so I sought no use for epoxy)
4. I got a 4 in piece of 9/16 brass and put a few layers of duct tape around it and hot glued it into the original barrel.
5. Close it up and add bands if you feel necessary.

I stuck 4in of brass on it, fits right on and gets more than 60ft.
