I'm new to nerf (only one war), so I just had a NF (brass, maglite, laser) and a Maverick (only air restrictors). I hardly used the Maverick, though, despite the war's being indoors (and I somehow lost it anyways ). I had a neat brand-X crossbow (not like the Nerf one) until its rightful owner showed up.

Me since nerf guns are rare here or seriously over priced (65 euros just for a NF!!), and I because my money supply is between zero and zero I use the same thing since I was like 6. It is a nerf bow with the air contrictor cut and a better spring.

Longshot or Bigger Salvo for a Primary

LNL or SSII for sidearm. It's fun stuff.

Alright, that seems to be the majority's opinion anyway. In my last war, I used 2 primaries, a Chainblazer and a cpvc couplered longshot (because I screwed up the magazine part of the breech). One is a sharpshooting gun and one is a Rof gun. The combo works very well for me.

I am indoors for most of my wars so...
Primary: Cpvc'ed Mav
Secondary: Nightfinder (soon to be my crossfire)

Secondary: None, I like to be mobile I will occasionally carry a second NF though.

Hopefully I can get my magstrike for my primary soon.

With my primaries, I'll usually switch between my Airtech 4000 and my Longshot. I'll sometimes use my Titan with a 6" barrel at four to seven pumps. If I feel like using a sidearm I use my Nite Finder with an Ultralite barrel but I'll soon be using my Nite-Mav once it's finished. For indoor wars, I like to dual-wield with my Nite Finders.

It depends. I had trouble running around with a Mav and NF with no holsters or straps. If you can secure your inactive guns, you shouldn't have trouble carrying them.

Sometimes we will play one hit kills indoors, and if that's the case I use my two sawed off Doubleshots. Who needs reloading when you're gonna die quick anyways, right?

I use(used to) use a modded longshot, the carrtoon mod, and a crossfire, nightfinder or maverick as my sidearm. sspb as backup and renegade's grenade as, well I don't know what i should call it but i love it.

I either use one Night Finder with a modded barrel (Five shots with the gun and a few in my pocket) or a blowgun (7-10 shots)...I was never was able to see the need for more than one gun. And besides, only having one gun with ranges like mine makes the entire game seem more...challenging.

My loadout is my new xbow with 2 brassed crossfires as sidearms. Those crossfires rally surprise you with the ranges they get. Right now I am working on a holdout shotgun blast fitted on the top of my xbow, so if I'm caught off guard and can't get to my crossfires, BAM!

I rarely carry more than one gun. I don't do anything that hinders my ability to run/jump/dodge/PWN.

That makes me feel a lot better. I was beginning to think I was the only one who used a blowgun. What does your blowgun look like? Mine is just a metal pipe I found that works quite well with standard suction-cup darts.

Here are a few of them. I just recently made a new 5' one that's red and black.



All three of those are around 4-5'

And yes, I turned a dead NF into a blowgun. The pointless pseudo-laser still works, too.

Most of my Nerf Wars are indoor with my friends so i can always put a bunch of guns in our home base... but heres the ones i primarily use.

Primary: Supermaxx5000
Secondary: Supermaxx1500
Sidearm: Maverick
Assault: Wildfire

All of em are modded except for the Wildfire... i had to repair the bladder...

At this time, no one in our group owns more than 1 nerf gun. With the exception of one player. Regardless I am currently only using the Crossfire. Our rules only allow one gun per player, hopefully as our group expands we'll see some interesting weapon set ups. In the future I'd like more of a primary weapon like the Supermaxx or a Crossbow with the Crossfire as a sidearm.

I don't understand why and how anyone carries more than two blasters at any given time.

The only one I've seen (on video) actually use four NiteFinders at once, was AnyaSeijin on an old YANO video (might still be on this site for download), and he did some kind of Matrix-Nerf-Buddha-Reggae kind of move, and actually hit people (before he got shot). We're talking shoot two NF's, fling them in the air, and two more being drawn out and fired simultaneously. In one move.


I tried to carry some of your loads in one of our typical Nerfing rounds. My 5k in hand, a Hornet strapped to my back on a sling, and two NiteFinders in cargo pockets.

Within one minute of moving and taking cover, etc., I lost the pistols and the strap broke on the Hornet, leaving me with my 5k. Perhaps if I had only one pistol in my cargo pocket, I could keep an eye on it and keep it secure.

Like many of you, I stick with one blaster at a time, once in a while if the round isn't fast and we start out defending (siege), I'd have a NiteFinder in said cargo pocket. Belt-mounted camera pouch to hold 30-40 rounds of stefans.
