Ok, so I'm pulling some old shit from this summer out again. One of which was the basic zero pull valve. It works great, but how do you rig that thing up to a barrel? Vinyll tubing?

Yo im seriously looking for a quick air release valve, so i gota ask what kinda valve is it like a poppet, solenoid, or can you say what brand and type is it so i follow up on it, as im making a home made metal bolt action air rifle that shoots 8mm ball bearings and im stuck as i need a both end threaded quick triggered air valve, so if you can give me the name of it i can say how to put it on as i have a few i ideas

Just shuttup ares. Valves don't have to be made. There are ball valves of many different materials and purposes, there solenoid valves, which are used for sprinkler systems by the way. If you want to spend time on a good homemade and not just make it in one day, use a solenoid valve.

Sorry about that Ares. I thought that you were talking about valves in general. I read the topic heading. Your post was kind of misleading. My bad.

Now then, this is why Counter-strike often sucks. Know your shit before you start to bash others. Also note the despairity between replies. This topic never lived a day in its metaphorical life.

And while I'm here, I'd like to say you're right, the homemade valve sucks, because the diffusion is not as good as a Solenoid, and the writeup has not been updated for reasons quite beyond me. It can be fixed with larger parts, though not necessarily a larger valve body. If Cadmond would toss some 7/16" brass my way, I'd make one, write it up, and test it, but I'm sure you, or Ares can figure it out.

i might try, yet the only brass i can find is sold in 1' long tubes and costs like 1.40 a tube. So, uh yeah. No problem, nerfmaniac. K, this topic died, got resurrected(though maybe unvoluntarily), and shall die at the end of this sentence.
