Hey, this is TCIND, the Vice President of the Edinboro Nerf Club.

Well, the Edinboro Nerf Club started real small with just a few of us, but recently the membership has just been EXPLODING, with 2-5 new people every match. We now must have at least 35 members (this is a very conservative estimate), and so are thinking about having a large-scale nerf war.

If we find a good place to host it (we have a nice location, but it's suited to 10-18 players, not 40) would anyone be interested in coming? We're located in Edinboro Pennsylvania, but may host it in a location in Erie Pennsylvania if we can find some good areas to play.

So, does anyone live nearby or would be interested in coming? Right now i'm just looking to see if there's interest, but if a good location is found (it will be within 25-30 min of edinboro at the fartheset) we may be looking at a game for next fall, or ( EXTREMELY unlikely) this summer.

If anyone would be interested in coming, let me know. Hope to make this a reality someday.

I live in Orefield(20 minutes west of Allentown, one hour north of Philly). I'd consider coming if the NIC attendance number was high enough.

I just hosted a war in Coplay(ECNO), wish you guys could've made it.

I saw that location, it looked INCREDIBLE. But even though i'm still in PA, mapquest still says that it's 6 hours away.

It'd be nice, but that's a trip for when we're a little more established.

And what was the turnout to Coplay?

NIC stands for Nerf Internet Community. I'm saying that I don't want to drive 6 hours for a war with a bunch of guys I don't know, sorry. If other guys from the NIC can make it, I'd consider it.

The turnout was 22 I think. Not bad, but a few people bailed, lowering our numbers by about 4-6.

I'm only about 2 hours away, so I suppose it's possible that I may be able to come.

Also, you may want to tell your members about PANO (Pittsburgh Area Nerf Out) this summer, considering it's only about 2 hours from you guys. I'm sure Master Yogurt, the host, wouldn't mind having some more people.

Shit, count me in too. It is nice to finally get a few groups sprouting up in PA. Mapquest says I am 96 minutes from you guys...

I'll be at PANO as well. With this big of an eastern community, I expect a nice nerfing schedule this summer.

I'd certainly be interested in an Erie war. I'd also like to cordially invite you and your clan to PANO, which is only 90 minutes from your location. It's on June 23rd. Even if you can't personally make it, spread the word to your clanmates, I'd love to have more people of all experience levels attending!

Interesting explosion of Mid-Atlantic region Nerfing this year. Last summer when I brought PANO up I barely had any response at all, now we've got three war possibilities in a two-hour radius. Weird.

I just meant that I wouldn't consider taking a serious or long trip unless you showed interest. That doesn't mean I would only go if someone can drive me to it or mod my guns or give me ammo; I would have done all that myself if you were going... And I'll be at the next rainy war I promise...

That proves my point. You are a nerfer of convenience. I would drive to almost any war regardless of who would go with me. The only time you went w/o me personally was to the DCNO John Atti went to, and even then it was a carpool of other LCMers. That's all I'm saying.
