Back on topic, I recieved a friendly email today from Starbuck, He said they should be shipped out in a coouple of days, hopefully this will be actually true. Third time is the charm!

Let's hope that you actually get the guns this time. Also, you should inquire as to why there was such a delay. It is, after all, common courtesy to inform clients of such happenings.

We were all noobs once, and everybody feels that way about their first mod.

First part: Yes
Second part: Speak for yourself.

Lol, still the fact that you would want to mod a Scout. Or even how about the fact that he cared enough about the $2 it's worth. If you're going to try a mod, try a POS like the Scout, what do you have to lose?

Just because someone doesn't post their mods, doesn't mean they're not capable of simple tasks like using a screwdriver and glueing some barrels together, which are convinently posted in many retard-proof(or so I previously thought) fashions.

But good luck with getting your guns back.

The Scout is my favorite gun.
It is not good for outdoors, but I only nerf indoors, although the place I nerf is large, the scout is still a great pistol.
Its durable, compact, has ammo holders, can attach to a titan, can install the mini maglite into the ammo holder, and it has the slider cock.

Alpha- According to Starbuck, he has been plating college football, been in the hospital 4 times, and have been in college. So those are his "delays"

nerfer34:
Well, if he's telling the truth (and I see no reason for him not to), then it's been quite an ordeal for both of you.

Grenado:
I'm not going to get in a pissing match with you or anyone else here, but I just implied that I have the mechanical thinking and patience required to effectively modify guns. I did not claim to be a demigod of nerf, as there are only about five people on these forums who could even approcah that title (The Infinite Shindig, One Man Clan, boltsniper, Carbon, ompa).

I don't want to get in a pissing match, believe me. I am not a mechanical thinker, more of a computer guy, it's just that if you're new to the world of Nerf, you can be a little nervous and want some help from an expert.

Well, last time a posted, Carbon gave me great information. I sent a letter to Starbuck's friend who is in the business with "Artemis Arms", because Carbon looked up and found the adress.

I bet some other people have dealth business with him. Possibly they know any information?

I understand busy.

But if you say, that you have a modding business and WILL mod your guns then DO IT!

It should trake 2 months AT THE MOST to mod some guns. Even if you are busy.

I know this topic is a month old and my post doesnt have much relative importance but Nerfer34... Honestly... Don't you think it would have been worth it to mod your own guns?!?

I mean sending guns to OMC or someone that is on the forums every week makes sense but how did you know you could trust Starbuck?

As I said I know this makes no relative importance but I never saw this thread when it was created and now I just saw it and commented.

Seeing how Starbuck was very active until he dissappeared, but I guess you wouldn't remember that.

Starbuck is honest. I know that he doesn't intend to rip me off.

He's just being inconsistant and apparantly going through rough times.

Substance Abuse- Like I said for the millionth time, I was 2 weeks old on the forums, I was influenced by Starbuck's Amazing modding ability, I didn't have as many tools as I have now, I didn't know I could mod a gun.

Andd as Wrath said Starbuck was active back then.

Even as a new member. Did you think that maybe you could try a mod of your own and then maybe possibly send them out if unseccessful? Maybe just buy a cheap gun such as a nitefinder and try it.

I am not bagging on you or anything and I know you didnt have a lot of tools but do you not agree that trying your own mod would have been a good idea? I mean looking back at it now I am sure you would go back and try it yourself.

Also you knew you were going to start somewhere with modding so why would you not try a simple NF mod with the little tools you had at the time.

Nerfer34 - Did you get your guns back? You said Starbuck sent you an email a while ago, so I'm assuming you did? If not, has he stopped replying to your emails and such again?

Substance Abuse - I see your point. But, back when you just began modding, wasn't there someone whos mods just looked so brilliant? I know I did. He is known as Forsaken_Angel24. I love every single one of his modifications. Though, I have been and still am attempting to complete his mods on my own. But back when I just started modding, they looked very complex, yet so well performed. It's like Boltsniper. Who here wouldn't love to have one of his guns? When I first saw the FAR, it was by far the coolest homemade I had ever seen.

Nope not yet, but today, I got an email form Starbuck that he will send them out tomorrow!

I hope this comes true!
