Hey everyone i am reletively new to nerf and do not really know a lot about the different guns out there. i was wondering if anyone could suggest some good guns to mode specifically for long distance and accuracy. I have a magshot but are there any other good ones?

I have a magshot ...

Magstrike perhaps?

For pure fun value, the Maverick, nerf's 6-shot revolver, is hard to top. You won't get much range or accuracy, though.

The Nitefinder is cheap, easy to modify, and performs very well for a pistol; if you don't own at least one, you should probably fix that.

And, if you can manage to find one, a Longhost (bolt-action, clip-fed rifle, can pierce cardboard and shoot 90' and beyond when heavily modified) and the Big Bad Bow (Excellent rifle when modified to shoot darts instead of arrows) are arguably the two "best" guns out there right now.

It really depends on what you like, though - get more of what you like. If you've never had a single-shot, long-range rifle-esque gun, get one to see if you do... and from there, get more of what you like. Along the lines of the Magstrike, the Rapid-Fire 20 holds and blasts 20 darts, and can be modified to use clips.

I bought Kohls.com's last two AirTech 2000s.

Behold.
Best long range gun out there in my opinion.
And it has a Part two.

Though I'd suggest getting used to modifying guns before you go and do this. Maybe a couple Nf's or a Maverick.

One gun you should look into is the LBB, or Big Blast. I put a 12" brass barrel on my LBB and plugged the relese vale and I got dead accurate shots from 70' and peirced cardboard.

I recommend the Big Blast over the LBB just because its pump is super easy to get to and plug.

I believe the piston rod is also made out of metal.

This contest may have some flaws, as people can simply be a deuschbag over the internet. By Lying.

A war-like setting/invitational would be better...

If you want a decently accurate, reliable long range weapon that's very easy to mod, get a BBB.

If you are good at modding and want ROF with range, get a Longshot.

If you are good at modding and want insane range, get a Crossbow.

If you are good at modding and want insane range without paying $60+ for a crossbow, get a pump shotgun.

If you like airguns, get an AT3k, AT2K, LBB, or Bigblast. (I think Bigblasts are air powered, I wouldn't know)

If you want a gun that'll get banned from wars, get a Titan or SM5K and single it.

If you want to be ridiculous, single an Ultimator.

There's your main options.

Actually a Big Blast will get at least the range of a Crossbow or pump shotgun and is cheaper than both of those.

And Butt Land is right, the valve in the Big Blast is metal. The trigger's still a piece of shit though.

Oh, another great option is a Big Salvo. They're semi-auto, have four shots and can get crazy ranges (80-90' with an unplugged pump and if you plugged it probably over 100'). I love mine.

I only have to pump the pump action shotgun once. How many pumps does it take to hit 160 with a big blast? :P

No one seemed to mention the "sleeper jalopy" of the bunch.

The MaxShot by Lanard.

Five minutes of modification with either brass or PETG and you have a 100 foot shooter with one-stroke cocking.

Take some time with the mod, reinforce, and you'll have a 100 foot shooter that will last at least three years (my son's one is still humming along).

They're not the most durable, but after reinforcement, you'll have something to be reckoned with.

Most important thing; get what makes YOU happy. BigBadBow, Titan, one of the older SuperMaxx guns, whatever. You're building a beast for you, not NerfHaven.

Enjoy.

All of the good guns have been listed with the exception of the TTG, or the Tech Target. After a simple air restrictor mod, it gets decent ranges into the 50'+ area.

Also, one last word of advice: work on your grammar. It's part of the Code of Conduct here.
