I once hit Warlock while hanging out of the sunroof of Fred's car going 20mph in a parking lot. We've estimated the distance at 80 feet.

I once hit Ash while diving, and while completely parallel to the ground, hit him as he was in full-stride.

I once hit Hersh while diving out of a treeline. I was mid-air and firing across my body. I believe I hit him in the belly.

I could go on and on with these. And they're all true.

Continuing in the strain Evil began...

I shot the PVC barrel of a 2k sticking out on a corner of a building from 60'. Gun hits count.

I dropped a dart on Anyaseijin's foot from 90' at the last YANO.

I shot a clan member from 120' away in the lower torso at our recent Turkey Day war.

And of course (because we've all pulled off at least one near-impossible feat in a war at some point or another) I once pegged someone from about 60-70' while running with my crossbow, continued running through a group, hitting two more with my splitfire sidearm, holstered it, and managed to peg Bag's girlfriend with my Nite Finder before I exited the cluster of opponents unhit.

Don't flame me for making it up. It's happened to everyone at some point. We all get owned just as much as we own. And as long as the stories remain reasonable, this could become quite an interesting read. I'm looking forward to seeing what comes out of this.

At Christmas Clash I pegged one of the Weaton guys, from on top of a picnic table, from ~100.(my estimate) while he was standing there.

At the recent DCNO during one of the first rounds of the day, my team "took a walk" out into the field. As the opposing team left the pavillion and play commenced, they began walking out towards us. As the two teams were still far apart, no one was particularly worried about getting shot and everyone was pretty calm. So I took advantage of this moment of carelessness on the other team's part. I crouched down, steadied my Big Blast on my knee and shot Crank in the neck from about 80'.

The same day I walked carefully around the corner of a building to see ThatWasRandom standing about 60 or 70' away turned the other way, guarding another corner of the building. I again seized the opportunity for a clean shot, took a few seconds to aim, squeezed off a shot and hit him squarely in the back.

Yet again that day I got a shot off that I was proud of. Walking (or jogging) in front of two buildings, I saw Hersh run out of a path between them about 30' ahead of me. He saw me, took a shot with his 1500, missed, turned and tried to run, but I quickly kneeled down and shot, hitting him in the leg and getting him to slam down his Crossbow. That was one of the highlights of my day, getting Hersh to throw his Crossbow. That day I became known as the "S Dot Niper" (pronounced that way).

There were several other notable incidents that day such as someone shooting himself in a sensitive place and an awesome act of teamwork between Evil and me, but words couldn't convey their awesomeness.

And since this thread has been all about shots we've made on other people, I'll share an excellent shot that was made on me.

Back at the June DCNO there were only eight people at the height of the day, so it was easy to get off on my own a lot. I was walking across a wide open basketball court thinking I was alone. I was hoping to sneak around the side of a building and find someone to shoot in the field next to the cluster of buildings. I was almost around the corner of the building when I heard a strange sound (if anyone here has played Perfect Dark 64, it sounded like the Crossbow firing, sort of a "whoosh" sound), and felt something smack me. I looked in the direction the sound came from and Kuhlschrank appeared from behind a building and pointed at me.

I am only an indoor nerfer so no long range miracle shots from me. But I've had my one moment. My ONLY moment.

It was about 2 months ago when I was invincible. I was a messahia. My friends couldn't believe what I was doing.

In the total of 8 rounds we played, I hit 28 people(yes I counted) and never got hit.

Some of the amazing moves I pulled:
- I left a loaded sspb on the railing of my staircase. I was parallel to it, about 15-20 feet away. I realized it was pointing in my enemies direction so I thought why not. I pulled out my NF and shot, I hit the sspb's ttrigger and a second later, I hear" "What the-". I hit him in the chest.
-I had a regularly modded SF(2 barrels) , I shot the both shots and I got 2 headshots
-I had no ammo and I saw my opponent walk past me( I was hiding behind the door) and he was loosly carrying his magstrike and I snuck up behind him, grabbed the gun and put 10 shots into him.

One of my favorite shots was at the last Thanksgiving war. OMC(One Man Clan) ran at me and shot. He missed so I ran up to him and shot him in the ass with my crossbow from 5 feet away. He flipped out and carried on about how it felt like a bee had stung him.

Another good moment was when Groove and I rushed the opposing team twice at the last DCNO. Some how we made it back after the first rush and ran in again and got totally lit up. Not to mention that one guy that Veggie brought who slammed his head into that air conditioner.

And my favorite nerf memory is when I watched pokemon with OMC in my boxers in a hotel room before the last MA war. Kuhlschrank walked in halfway through the show and said that pokemon was gay, but I know that he was just jealous.

Wow long time since I've posted on this forum, but I feel like I want to...

First Nerf War, Armageddon 2003 I think, anyways. I was using an SM1500 PVC modded, before stefans were used I think. I was wandering round the outskirts of one of Urban area's 4 temporary classrooms. I so happened to watch one of my teammates being chased down by one of the "horsemen" and he went into a dive/roll, puttin his hands up. Horseman guy stood over him with his gun pointed down at him as I took careful aim from about 40-60 feet away. My shot was hit perfectly on his chest and everyone who was sitting 'out' went, "HOLY CRAP GOOD JOB BRIAN!! WOOOO" and I was like, woah and my teammate was laughing his ass off and gave me a thanks and we continued to play.

Prolly my best is sitting in a bush, 15 feet away from an enemy, waving at him as he stares directly at me, and he still doesn't see me. That, or getting three people out with one shotgunned titan at once.

My friend Travis was running back to his base with my team's flag, and I shot him in the back of the neck from 70' with my blowgun.

Me and Mobeus took on Travis, Alex, and Freeze (Non NIC members) they had a nice assortment of couches to hide behind and we were pinned behind a wall. WE OWNED THEM.

At my first Nerf War I owned everyone with an NF by myself.

At my last Major war at Mobeus's house, I unleased hell with my new Longshot. I wasn't as good with it as I am now, but I still scared the crap out of my friends.

I fought two people by myself. They each had 3 hitpoints, I only had 1. I was using a Maverick, and as they ran towards me up the stairs with their DTG's, I unloaded my Maverick and got both of them before they shot me.

I ran up the slide on the 12' wooden fort in my yard, and shot the guy inside it with my Maverick before doing a backflip off the slide, and I didn't get shot.

I loaded up an RF20 and a Titan, holding one in each hand. Mobeus and my little brother were waiting for me, and when I opened the door, My little brother ran, and I unloaded the RF20 into Mobeus's face. He did a backflip onto the floor, and I shot him in the ass with the titan.

my little shpiel involves My Modded longshot with both clips loaded and taped together at the ends, and my two mavericks loaded with taggers. i NEVER MISSED A SHOT THE ENTIRE GAME. (of, course, no one can hear your footsteps with James Brown's I've Got That Feelin' blasting 10 feet behind you.) plenty of dive shots and sliders, because i'm fairly good at them.

I tried to modify mine, but the pump/firing mechanism/clipfeed/wires/lights were all in one glued up piece. No distinctly separate components with vinyl hoses. Well, there was SOME vinyl hose, but it was messy and I was fairly new to Nerfing @ the time.

Our Belgian friend, Mayhem, has a mod for it, more of a complete makeover, no clipfeed. More of a conversion.

On the topic of radical stories, my most impressive wasn't a war.

About five years ago, I had modded six SuperMaxx 1500s identically, with 8" single PVC barrels. My supervisor's daughter had come to our department because she heard we had some fixed-up toy guns. I stood (indoor auditorium) about 70-80 feet away, and told her, "c'mon, shoot me!"

She said, "No, it can't reach THAT far!"

I said, "Try it. It can. REALLY."

She kind of pointed it casually from the hip, and fired.

You could hear the yellow micro whizz through the quiet auditorium.

*THWACK*

I saw purple in my right eye.

The dart flew the 70-80 feet, straight line from the hip, and nailed me in my right glasses lense.

"COOL! Wait til my dad hears about these!"

I said, "No! Don't!"


And such began our modifed Nerf madness at the office.

Mine worked fine, and I don't remember doing anything to it. I already shot a PM to themessiahpsg1 describing the gun, which is currently in my basement. All of the glow-in-the-dark darts are missing though, and I have no idea which box I put this thing in.

P.S.: This isn't technically a war story, however, I did get a Longshot today at Wal-Mart (corporate bastards put them on the shelves after Christmas) and nailed my sister in the ass with it from across the family room, kitchen, and dining room (they're connected) with an inclined shot. She wasn't happy.

My greates nerfing moment was at my first nerf war. Along with Hersh and Tyler (Kuhlschrank) I was standing behind a tree and Tyler was looking the other way so I tip toed up to him and barrell tapped him and I kept running past and barrell tapped duxburian. And also at that war my little brother came along with me and was on the other team at one point. Was standing about 60-70' away with his LBB runs out from behind a tree and shoots me in the freakin face. And the round after he did the same thing again and Hersh was making fun of me saying how my brother could kick my @$$ in nerf any day.

Oh yeah this wasn't one of my shots but Substance was using Talio's at2k and shot Hersh in the face and popped out his glasses lense. That was a fun war.

We do local wars here, since it's a bizilion mile drive to anywhere from arkansas. Anyway I used to use an unmodded maverick before I knew about modded guns, then I bought one off ebay, [which inspired me to mod my own]. At the time the gun was bad compared to my other mods and basically all mods on the NIC, oh, and it was a NF. I had broke my two mavericks trying to replace the spring. [stupid yes, I know now]

So we began the war, things went on as usual, and then it was a guy with one dart in an unmodded maverick, me with my NF, against 4 guys with a LS, a magstrike, and 3 mech tommy twentys. We beat them using a sweet strategy.
My partner rolled his turret back to where his 1 dart would not be fired, and then he ducked behind some cover and cocked it. My opponents well knew I had a 1 shot and they had just pumped up the magstrike. So then I cock the NF and load a dart, and then pop up really fast. At the same time my friend pulls the trigger on his mav, and they think I shoot. Then they blitz us, and my poor other friend, thinking to take us out with his magstrike, gets shot in the forehead.

This unseen hit sent them in a panic, and my friend goes crazy firing blanks at them so they ran up our stairs and we took them out on the way. We laughed on that one for a while but you would have needed to be there to understand fully how funny it was.
