Well I left these forums and Nerf-playing and got into paintball, via my brother's influence. I bought a marker, slapped some other goodies on it, and decided "Hey, it still isn't unique". So I painted it with Digi-Camo, with red a red and maroon scheme; dubbed "Blood Camo", by me. Here's the thread on a paintball, more specifically woodsball forum. Here's the pics for those of you too lazy to click the link and read the positive (Mostly) comments:

^That is my current barrel.
I used Krylon Fusion spray paint, a stencil generator I found online, some laminating sheets for the stencils so they were like stickers, and a lot of painters tape.

Here's more pics of pre-painting:

Cutting the stencils was a very painstaking process.

Yeah man, I'm an agg balla. I don't know if you expect the red cammo to help you camoflauge, though, but it would probably hurt rather than help you. I normally play speedball but a couple times I tried woodsball with borrowed cammies but just screwed around but the one time I was serious i was really concious about how my black gun and black mask stuck out so much.

I think it looks cool... 7/10 only because I did a similar thing to a custom gun that me and my dad made. Its lacking originality. Other than that it looks great.

I know it doesn't help me, but it looks badass. :P
And how does it lack originality? When was the last time you saw red and maroon digi-camo?

He said that his dad and he did something similar. It's still original if you've never seen anything like it before you did it though.....8.5/10.

Rambo, that was uncalled for. Edit it out of your post so this doesn't become a VS thread.

Better idea; don't let this thread, or any part of the forum, descend into a paintball v airsoft v Nerf hen-fest.
Ever.

Take the woodsball v speedball argument to PBNation, if you must.

Yes please don't get thise thread closed. :D Oh and that's why I put it in the Off Topic forum. And I suggest that you don't go on PBnation. A lot, not saying all of, those guys are meatheads. They have threads on how to cheat, just giving the sport an even worse image than it already has. I didn't know a lot of people play paintball here. That's a nice suprise :)

In my opinion I don't think it looks very good.

Also why do you use a A5 for speed ball? Does it have e-grip?

On a side note I'm rocking a sp ion with cp roller trigger, Dye ultralight, cp reg, and a hybrid feed neck.

Who said I played speedball? And I forgot to add it was my first paintjob on something like this, err first paintjob on anything really. And I use a Response Trigger with a pen spring, and it's beautiful.

Not Too Too Bad . Nice Setup Also, Although I Would Use That Stock Barrel As A Paper-Weight. The Apex is not to bad although if you have to shoot straight, it's not the best in the world. I'm I speedball fan but I played in the woods for around 3 years. Was gunning a Specal Ops Longbow - Zeus G2+ Holstered, Sweet setup. Now I'm using an 05 Bob Long ND With Just about everything under the sun in it. If you need a hand with anything just shoot me a pm.

WOOT go tippmann. Thats pretty cool, I have a 98c myself, haven't got to play woodsball yet but my 98 fairs quite well on a speedball field.

I actually used my stock barrel to see how it would come out before painting my whole gun like that.

Tippmans are about the slowest pieces of crap. Speedball? I don't think you could contend with pimped ions and 'impulses.

Maybe you just don't get how fast a super r/t is, my gun clocks in at 20+ bps. And besides, I just bought an Ion two days ago.

It looks good for it it being your first paint job. The lines came out pretty clean.

On a side note do you think I should buy an A-5 now, or save my money for an Angel? I heard they're legendary from the whole two weeks that I've been into paintball. I prefer woodsball so which one would be best?

Well go for the A5 for woodsball. PLus, you'll have extra money left over for lots of upgrades. If you have the money for an Angel though, buy one of these!! Special Ops Paintball Hammer Or just grab an X7 while they're in stock. Plus, this is good if you like to ambush people and have ghille if you like being a sneaky bastard. But I know most newbies want to be a "idiot", so don't spring for the longbow right away. Special Ops makes truly awesome stuff. Opsgear, not so good.
Edit; didn't see that idiot filter coming.
