All these consoles, waste of time and money. It's only a matter of time before they produce one console that does it all. That will be my console. I find myself playing more and more pc games each day. I've become acustomed to a mouse as my control. The consoles are practically all ready pc's, with a few modifications. Just wait till they release a multi gaming system, that's the system I'll want.

I pretty much agree with uncle hammer, except for using a mouse as a control. I switched to a $50 joystick made by logitech that I really like. Actually, I like it more thant the average console controller. I find myself playing my PSP for the one reason that it is portable, and can fit in pockets. I really doubt than any system while ever be better than a PC that comes out at the same time, except for the fact that some games are designed only for consoles. But eventually you can get emulators and play them too. Also, systems can paly multiplayer easier which has an advantage.

Computer definitely, considering I can get an X-BOX 360 emulator on my my computer for free, and pick all the games for free, there is really no reason to get just one console.

I'll pick up some external RAM and space, thinking maybe 1GB ram and 250-500GB of hard drive space, costing about say 150-200. After that I can pretty much get all the systems I want and play on my computer, of course getting a nice controller too. I can get an NES, SNES, PS2, sega, N64, and Gameboy advance emulators for free.
So the point of me buying all the systems is stupid.

I stick with my computer, but I might go for the Nintendo Wii after I have a job, because it just rapes harder than you.

Definitely the Wii. In my opinion, the PS3 is nothing but a repackaged Wii with nicer graphics, but it's features are the same. I don't think that's worth 350+ bucks than Wii for. Plus, i've hit a point in my life where i can play a zelda or mario game and say to myself "i don't care if it was made for a younger audience". Besides, Super Smash Bros is one of the best games made, and that's where the sequel's going.

Also, for online service, if i remember right, it's like $40 one time fee, then you can get old nintendo games too. For the 360 and (i'm not sure about this one) ps2, you have to pay a fee to use the service. Wii is a great deal, and there's mature titles coming for it, such as COD3 and Red Steel, I can't wait to be swinging that remote/sword!!!

PC or Nintendo 64. N64 is a classic! And it has all the good games like Conkers Bad Fur Day, Goldeneye, Super Smash, Zelda, Mario 64, etc.

I am FED UP with PC gaming. I recently purchased Battle for Middle Earth II for $40. Shortly afterwards, I turned out that my video card was not compatible with EA's games. So, I forked out $150 for a screamin' Nvidea card. Then, for some reason, the game still wouldn't work. The mediocre EA customer support can not seem to find an answer, and of course, took far too long to reply. I cannot return either one, and am stuck in with a game I cannot play. I'm out $190 and I am pissed.

So, I switched to the XBOX. Not only is there almost 0 hassle, the games look and sound better on my 29' flat panel TV and surround sound. It feels incredible to just throw in a game disc and have it WORK. No installation, no costumer support, no 10 hour troubleshooting sessions. After 10 years of PC gaming, I am through. All in all, I think only thing I got for all that PC gaming was a shorter lifespan from all the headaches. Thanks!

I getting it for the following reasons!

1. Its cheap.
2. The graphics look good.
3. And most of the new megaman games will be realsed for the wii.

And to tell you the truth, i have had my fill of Sony's crap.
But man that wireless motion thingie looks sweet! I can't wait to swing a baseball bat or a golf driver with it.
And besides even if the graphics are not quite as good, they still beat the pants off of the playstation 2 i have! And as a plus, you can download NES, SNES, N64, and Sega Genesis games...Which is great for a classic gamer like myself.

Wii all the way!

Wii + 360 = Wii60

That's what I'm getting.

First is the Wii because it:
is cheap
has decent graphics

Then, the 360:
Worth it to me all around -- price is is almost okay. But when I get it it will be cheaper and have more games.
Best graphics this gen.
And I love XBox and microsoft.

I'd go with the Wii and the Xbox360.

The PS3 is just too expensive at the moment, besides they might release a sleeker version after a few years, so I'll just wait.

Besides, anybody heard about the offer on Amazon for the 360? I'm glad I waited until a massive price drop rolled in.

I would personally get the Wii. Its the most unique out of the 3 and I prefer to play rather non-serious games such as Super Smash etc. Shooters will be awesome! But now I will give pros and cons to each:
Wii:
Pros:
-Very cheap
-Very unique
-Wii sports
-Awesome controller
-Smooth graphics

Cons:
-Worst out of the 3 graphic-wise
-Won't get as many games

Ps3:
Pros:
-Very sleek
-Best graphics
-Many features
-Gets a lot of games

Cons:
-VERY expensive
-Same old controller/design

Xbox360:
Pros:
-Nice graphics
-Halo 3
-Many good games
-Xbox live
-Good feel to it

Cons:
-Same old controller/design a.k.a almost just an upgraded xbox
-Probably going to be replaced sooner because it came out earlier

Thats just my 2cents.

I read somewhere that the 360's on-line gaming was free. I think it said that the 360 (full version) comes with the XBox 360 Gold account and that it is free. Is that true? If anyone of you has the 360, I'd prefer that you answer because I want to know for sure.

I'm definitley (sp) getting the wii. The new Zelda game is going to be awesome. By the way Red Steel is rated T, but anyway it look awesome. The multiplayer could be up to par with Nightfire (plus you can use a sword).

I'm getting the Wii, I'm camping out at target really early on sunday with three of my friends. So that should be awesome. I'm getting ZTP with it and one other game (I'm debating between red steel, trauma center and metal slug)

I have a 360 and I have enjoyed it so far. Its got good graphis, many features and best of all, Halo3. Now, my Dad animates games, so he gets information on the new systems and games fairly often. He was told that the PS3, after all of its build-up, will be only slightly more powerful than the Xbox360, but will end up costing far more. As for the Wii, the only reason I would get it is for Zelda. If there is anyone out there that played the Ocarina of Time, you know what I mean ...

Its too damn bad that they havent made a remake of the classic Goldeneye either...that would be sweet...

You are kidding me right? The Playstation 3 is going to blow Nintendo Wii Away. Just socom 3 will do the trick. Also for playstation 3 you do not have to pay an online fee. You may be confusing Xbox Live.

I mean... Compare the two.

Nintendo Wii: Posted Image

PS3: Posted Image

PS3 is by far cooler.

I seriously do not think that Spiderman font and a black case give the Playstation 3 a leading edge. The Wii looks like something Apple would make, simple, clean, and white. The Playstation 3 might have been cool if it didn't come with a $500 price tag. After all this hype, I still want an XBOX 360 over the PS3. I have respect for the Wii, but don't plan on getting one.

I'll probably be getting a Wii. Mainly for Smash Bros. Brawl, but also it seems that it's the only next gen system with any innovation. Sony and Microsoft seem to be locked in a battle about having better graphics and more powerful systems, whereas Nintendo is focusing on making gameplay better. I've been waiting a long time for someone to come out with a point an shoot FPS (Ever since playing Duck Hunt and Yoshi Safari) and Nintendo's finally pulling through with Call of Duty 3 and Red Steel (although I seriously think Red Steel is being over hyped). Also, I like the idea of downloading games that were on older system (Goldeneye anyone? How about Perfect Dark? Yoshi Safari? Maybe Duck Hunt? Bomberman 64?)

I'm totally going to get a 360! Halo 3! My PC is good, but I hate how you have to keep replacing video cards and whatnot. I do have some cool games on my PC, like SWAT 4, and Star Wars Battlefront II. But the 360 has great games and even better graphics, at a smaller price than a computer like the Dell XPS.

I would have to go with the PC because if I didn't have my comp I wouldn't be able to play World of Warcraft. If I couldn't play World of Warcraft then I wouldn't have a life.
