Forgive the double post. I probably won't be check ing back in here much before next saturday, so I'm just dumping me load off here.
I just updated the list in my post at the top of this page. Take a look. Count up the possible attendance. Does that NOT make you smile?
This has the potential to match this last summer's Armageddon in attendance. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all of you people...
Well, I suppose shooting you for starters...Katie'll be there to take pictures for a good deal of the day. I'll sit out a few round with my camera, too.
Everyone remember to bring PLENTY of water, along with some money for lunch. Bring extra guns along in case something stops working. And for heaven's sake, bring a lot of darts.
And so help me, you had better have eye protection. If you don't, Seijin and Daniel will be taking over Cxwq's ass-kicking duties for the day, I do believe. And Spoon will laugh at you.
Sage and I will be loaded with cones, but we probably won't really need them much. I'll see what I can do about some trash cans for the blind corners on the north end of the grid. We'll probably stick a few out in the GHS courtyard for CTF (since we're going to need to use the entire 50-yard long courtyard to handle this many people for CTF...) I'll have the flag towels with me, and I already know what we're hanging the flags on. There are two bright red water mains in the courtyard. One at each end. Convenient, no? Sage will let us know when the High School is done with the SATs so we can move in for some CTF fun.
Again, the festivities start around 10:30 am. Try to arrive around 10:00 so we can get "meet-and-greet/mod guns in the parking lot" time taken care of and get into the good stuff.
Looking forward to seeing you all there!
