well, since he may only have one gun unless we can figure out how to make the TITAN 4K before YANO, and I can't get that done without you, Homie. I dunno what's exactaly I'm going to do.

also, something I meant to add in:

SoCal Nerfers who owe me money:
Falcon: $13 + Titan Airtank

Daniel: Uh... I think it was $16?

Sage: $10 or an LBB

So, uh, anyone wanna pick-up and mod a Longshot for me? Seriously. I'll pay 40-50, I know its not much, but it is something for it. Bags, Falcon, Anyone?

Anyway, yeah, Daniel knows he owes money. We talked about it yesterday.

I would seriously like some good attenedence at this YANO. I'm happy to be playing a grid again; though I have to say, I've been training with other weapons and such recently, so my game play is more versital (If I spelled that right. Too bad my vocab don't get better) than before. Oddly enough, I"m getting back into long range, which I haven't really done that in a few years. Anyway, how is everybody else doin with school and such?

School's going fine. Glad to hear you're diversifying your arsenal a bit! Are you intending to use a longshot as this range extension, or are you bringing out the maxshot again?

All Nite Finders and no range makes Josh a dull boy afterawhile...

Attendance should be quite good this month. From the looks of things, we may have one of the more diverse weapon displays yet seen at a YANO. Longshots are just starting to catch on with everyone, so a few of those will be present; there will still be Airtech era guns all over the place (which inclues Maxshots, LBB's, etc.) and then the classics will be all over too. Should be fun!

Looks something (roughly) like the following:

Desert Storm
AnyaSeijin
Daniel
Dillon
Arrow
Mrs. Seijin
Beth
Sierra

Knights
Falcon
Ace
Nightwing
Apollo
Speed
Sputnik
Chronic
Snake
Sage
Sasquatch
Superfly
Akai
Moroni

Narf
Baghead
Amanda
1 Un-nammed nub
Pilz
Richard
Shwa
Cosmo
Flowbee
Tre BRC

Etc.
Spoon
Silent Mercenary
ShatteredDreams
Cthulhu + guests (?)

That satisfy your want for attendance okay? If all works out, this could be the largest YANO yet held at Cullen.

Glendora High School is one of the host locations for the SAT, and it is being held that day. So Sage and possibly a few other Knights who are currently still students at GHS will be there for the first half of the day or so. When they get out they're planning to head on over to Cullen shortly. We'll get in one more round at the School so they can have some fun at the grid (and so all the students at the HS for the SAT can leave) and then we'll head on over to the High School. Once we're sure that the testing has officially ended for the day and that no stragglers are hanging around smoking or something, we'll hit the campus with some Effeminate CTF. This is going to be awesome!

Can't wait to see you all!

Hopefully Silent Mercenary is still coming and will be able to set up a carpool thing. If not, I'll hop the train up on Friday. Most of my group looks to be able to make it (even Sputnik, who hasn't nerfed since the February YANO, I think...)

I'm still working on hauling my roommate up for one of these, but it won't be this month.

Two more weeks, people! Looking forward to seeing you all again!

Also I am trying to talk another buddy into going, He works with my Pa' and thinks everything is cool I can probably get him to film if he goes and does not want to play if thats cool with everyone.

In short YANO= awesom death by foam :(

Cool!

If you can film, I'd be happy to edit the footage for you if you don't feel like it. But regardless of what happens, this is looking to be an awesome weekend.

For those who know who I'm talking about, Ace and Nightwing will be attending a good part of the day with me. I think this may be the best knights turnout we've ever had (Sputnik missed Armageddon, but he's coming to this).

See you all in a week and two days! Cheers!

Forgive the double post. I probably won't be check ing back in here much before next saturday, so I'm just dumping me load off here.

I just updated the list in my post at the top of this page. Take a look. Count up the possible attendance. Does that NOT make you smile?

This has the potential to match this last summer's Armageddon in attendance. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with all of you people...
Well, I suppose shooting you for starters...Katie'll be there to take pictures for a good deal of the day. I'll sit out a few round with my camera, too.

Everyone remember to bring PLENTY of water, along with some money for lunch. Bring extra guns along in case something stops working. And for heaven's sake, bring a lot of darts.

And so help me, you had better have eye protection. If you don't, Seijin and Daniel will be taking over Cxwq's ass-kicking duties for the day, I do believe. And Spoon will laugh at you.

Sage and I will be loaded with cones, but we probably won't really need them much. I'll see what I can do about some trash cans for the blind corners on the north end of the grid. We'll probably stick a few out in the GHS courtyard for CTF (since we're going to need to use the entire 50-yard long courtyard to handle this many people for CTF...) I'll have the flag towels with me, and I already know what we're hanging the flags on. There are two bright red water mains in the courtyard. One at each end. Convenient, no? Sage will let us know when the High School is done with the SATs so we can move in for some CTF fun.

Again, the festivities start around 10:30 am. Try to arrive around 10:00 so we can get "meet-and-greet/mod guns in the parking lot" time taken care of and get into the good stuff.

Looking forward to seeing you all there!

2 things. Yeah, bring eye protection, I swear I'll bring our homemade to teach you a lesson if you don't.

2ndly Forget that mess about modding your guns there. If your gun isn't modded ahead of time, once again, you will be giving me an excuse to shoot you with my homemade, and or watch Daniel beat you (whatever I may choose). I like getting there at 10, and getting down to business. I don't want to wait around watching somebody mod a gun. It doesn't tickle me right. By the way, if you check the list of LANO rules, which have been carried over into YANO rules, it does state that you are to have your guns modded ahead of time, and no modding at the site. (Now obviously there are exceptions later in the day if repairs need to be made and such, I am understanding, a little.)

There, those are the ground rules for YANOs. I believe Cx would agree. So you have been warned.

I'm headed out on a 6.4 mile walk around the San Diego bay to the train station (my departure time is when everyone with a car is in class...go figure) and I get into town around 5:00. I already made a personal batch of darts, and I'm all hitched up. Gun's wraped in my spare clothes and stock of my crossbow's sticking out the top of my backpack. What a sight...

This is going to be a great event; hopefully Spoon remembered to write it on his calendar. See you all on saturday!

Ummm.......

So it turns out I can't make the war. But it's not my fault. Honest. I'm actually kind of pissed about it. My film got into a festival in Hollywood and my screening is, you guessed it, Saturday. I kind of have to be there, seeing as how I'm the director and all. The screening is two hours and I have to be there early to set up so I won't be able to make the war. You know, the war which looks like it's going to be fucking awesome.

So sorry guys, I'm really bummed I'm going to miss this, I've REALLY been looking forward to shooting the crap out of all of you.

Good luck at the festical thingy and whatnot!

Alrighty, We need to pull Shwa, Tre, And Cosmo from the list, chances are we're going to lose Richard as well, also we're probably losing our Nub, so now we're down to ME, Amanda, Tone-Dogg, with a good chance of Pilz and Flowbee comming in from the west.
