So I have solved my problem. To prevent the jubilee clip from popping out I covered the 3/4" PVC plug with plumbers goop and then jammed it inside the rubber. I have edited my original post so nobody else attempting this mod will get frustrated like I did with this problem.

Here is a picture of the bladder inflated at around 50 pumps.
Now you see why those ridges of plastic had to be cut/sanded down.
Posted Image

Further more I have done a few additional mods to my Magstrike.
I have covered up the sanded parts of my guns shell with e-tape to make it more smooth on the bladder when it presses up against it.
Posted Image
I did this to both sides. Just to be on a safe side with the bladder.

Next I banded the bladder with peices of bicycle inner tubing. Just cut it down and stretch it over top. I didn't add much but I am scared of over banding so I went with this. This banding helps keep the last clip as strong and fast as the first, or close to it anyways. I also added E-tape and felt craft sheet around the jubilee clip to keep it soft. I did this mainly to help protect the bladder when it gets inflated in the gun. No sharp peices is what I am going for here.
Posted Image
I know it is starting to look sloppy inside but its good to be safe and it pays off.

You guys aren't going to beleive this.<------ Click here.
55 pumps.

There is still more to come and a few more things I am testing out.

Retiate: Don't get two O-rings because the pump will fail to function. Trust me. Get a slightly thicker O-ring or lube your existing O-ring well. Make sure your lube is rubber safe.

General Cole: I have no idea what the hell you are talking about.

Retiate again: You get to the O-ring by unscrewing your gun.

I can get to the pump shaft by unscrewing it? Wow. I feel stupid. I thought I was going to have to cut it or something.

Maybe somebody can answer this question:

There are two endpieces for the bladder. One of the endpieces is connected to the two tubes. Could you cut the bladder off the two tubes, have a hose barb t coupler and lead a piece of vinyl tubing out of it, to an external air tank? Or is the plastic piece essiental? Thanks.

To CPVC the Clip. They are inserts to put into the barrells of the clip for a tighter seal on stefans.
We should stop calling out/making fun of/pissing GC off. He's actually contributed and is available for trade. He's a better than average member no doubt. Got your back Cole.

First off: Forsaken_angel24, You kick ass. The only thing I can recommend is considering using a different type of hose clamp. A Nylon snap-grip clamp would be ideal, but they're quite expensive in that size. 2 Constant-Tension Spring Hose Clamps might be a safe alternative to worm-drive clamps.
Posted Image

General Cole: is talking about making CPVC barrel inserts for the stock barrels in the clips. However .357mm (around 1/64th") is far far too thin of a wall for a plastic tube and not a thickness traditionally available for metal tube. The only option it seems would be to make a new clip from scratch, or make a complete replacement of the guts inside the stock clips.

Thanks.

The functioning of the gun depends heavily on the expanding bladder. If you did make an external tank it would need to be regulated or have a similar expandable bladder design.
And in order for the pump to be able to fill the bladder there has to be a one-way valve. Which is either in the end of the pump or in the bladder cap. If it's in the pump then yes the bladder cap is not vital.

If you're doing without the stock pump and the stock bladder then all you need is a one-way valve for the pump on your replacement system.

If you are good enough with a lathe it is possible. I have our schools shop teacher helping me. We alsmost have one done, you just have to handle it very carefully.

Well I have done Angels amazing magstrike mod, and I haven't seen anyone post ranges yet so here are my ranges:
1st clip:65-75
2nd clip:50-65
3rd clip:50-60
All those were done at 55 pumps. I'll try to get ranges for all 30 darts up bye the weekend so you can see exactly where the darts land. My guess for me geting high ranges are 1: I added thicker strips of inertube, and 2: My hoseclamp slid down 1-2 inches more than angels, so the bladder might have more pressure on it. The way this gun is going it looks like you could outperform a longshot(I mean overall, not in range)!!!

BTW i'm not crazy.

3rd and final level of modification:

So I felt that the magstrike could still be improved. In this final set of of improvements we will be looking at the clip, the trigger, the piston and the O-ring at the end of the piston. Again I feel I have outdone myself on this last and final part of this mod. I hope you enjoy seeing the output of your new magstrike after doing these mods as much as I did.

We will start off with the clip.

If you put your mouth to one of the holes in the back and then take your finger and make an air tight seal on the front of the barrel and blow into it you will see there is a large amount of air loss. This is due to a lack of air seal between the plastic sheath and the air restrictor bases and the clip. To fix this we will be taking 10 2.5" peices of 17/32" brass.
Posted Image
After you have those precut just set them aside.

Now to open your clip you are going to take a flat head screw driver and poke it in the holes on an angle and slowly pop the sheath out of place. Do this part very carefully because if you dont you could ruin a clip. Then pop out all the air restrictors. Now take your sanding/cutting but and shred the inside of the bottom of the barrel untill the 17/32" brass sits tight inside the clip. Try and make the holes perfectly round. If not your barrels will be crooked and innacurate. In the third pic you will see the clip before and in the fourth you will see the clip after the shaving of the inside of the barrel. You will also see the dremel peice I used to shred the holes wider to hold the brass. It works wonders.
Posted Image

Now wrap E-tape around the end of the brass that is going to be closer to the front of the clip so it sits snug in the clip. You dont need much you only need to go about 3/4 around the brass.
Posted Image
Try to make it so the e-tape is on the bottom when you ram it into the clip. It will put your barrels at a miniscule upward angle. Might not make a big difference in range but you never want your barrels aiming down no matter how miniscule.

Now push your barrels all the way back into the clip. Also make sure that your barrels are in straight if they are not you can add a small peice of cardboard or something to keep it straight you can see it in one of my photos. Now put the back peice back on and look at it. Is it bumpy? Misshapened? Does it still glide smoothly up and down the clip? If not you need to push against the back of the clip on something hard and edgey like the end of a desk. This will force any barrels that were pushed too far back into place and it wont push them back to far because the clips edges wont allow you push them in any farther when the clip is being rubbed up and down the edge of a desk. (If this part doesnt make sense let me know and I will make a video.)

Now that your back peice is going to go on flush with the clip again it is time to take it off and apply silicone caulking all around the barrels. Don't skimp out on this stuff get sloppy. Make sure the caulking goes all around the barrel bases Do your best to not allow any caulking to get in the brass. Now add the back peice of the clip we took off earlier back onto the clip. Press down hard. You will see some caulking form in little O's inside the brass. Now take sheet of paper towel and twist it in fashion of thin as hell at one end and barely twisted at the other end. Stick it through the front of the barrels and pull it through the other end. This will clear out any silicone from becoming more air restriction. I would only reccomend using one peice per one or two barrels because it might muck up the insides of the barrels.
Posted Image
Now you are probably saying ok Angel it was fun in the beginning but now I and my clip are all sticky with caulking. If caulking does and probably will push out the seams at the sides simply take liquid lighter fluid and wipe it down with paper towel untill its gone. I used zippo lighter fluid. Keep the shit away from open flames since both the caulking and zippo fluid are flammable. Now you need to leave it alone to dry for the next 24 hours or so. when it was drying I took a 25 pound plate weight as used in body building and layed it flat across the back of the clip. This ensures the back is going to stay flat and it helps the cocking do its job.

Now we are going to look at a much easier mod. The trigger, I noticed the trigger valve could be pushed in farther. I cannot prove and have no idea if this works but I thought hey if there is a chance the valve can open wider than why not try it. I shaved down a small plastic peice that stopped the trigger from going in further and added a small orange plastic peice to the back of the trigger to help push the button in further. (The part I shaved is outlined in red.)
Posted Image

Now onto the pistons O-ring in the front.

This is the part that slides back and forth in the white winged peice.
I blew into the front of the white peice when it was on the end of the piston and not at all to my surprise I heard air leaking. To fix this I grabbed some e-tape and cut it really thing and wrapped it around the base under the O-ring then replaced the O-ring. It was then airtight. Don't use too much E-tape, the piston should still be able to advance and retract fairly easily if it cannot the gun will fail to function.
Posted Image

Now onto the piston.

(I must first warn you that the piston mod will take away your ability to use 3 clips. But gives a large increase in power.)

I wanted to make the gun build up more air pressure before it fires giving more kick to darts.
For this you only need two rubber bands. Take the rubber bands and make a single cut. Wrap one end around the first base that forms along the piston and wrap the second around the base of the arm that advances the clip. then take the other ends and make a small loop. stretch the other ends and wrap them around the screw base in the lower right part of the shell.
Posted Image
You dont want the elastics to be super tight because they will break sooner than later and the gun may not function.

I took some super glue and glued back on the green cap peice near the plunger that I took off when I first opened this gun in the first mod.

Posted Image
This modification is finished as I feel there is nothing left I can do to this gun.
However I encourage all of you to prove me wrong.

Finally the ranges:

I finished this mod two weeks ago but have been so busy so I couldn't go out and range test.
I went out today and there was a bit of rain and wind coming from the side. The wind was not brutal but brutal enough to send the darts 10 feet to the right of where I was shooting. These both unfortunately bring down the range but these conditions will have to do untill next weekend.

The dart tagger darts landed on average beyond the 70 foot mark!

A measuring tape was used and a witness (The Decommisioner) was standing at 60 feet down to see exactly where they drop. There is no doubt in my mind that this spitting beast can get upwads of 80 feet in good weather. If you guys need a video let me know and I will make one but keep in mind I don't want to wear my mask to the park.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think I may just have the farthest shooting automatic mod on the NIC now.

Questions? Comments? Praises? Donations?

Great guide, but for future reference it's spelled "caulking".

I do have something new and unique planned for this gun. I just have to get around to doing it.

I'm just throwing this out there, but in my experience, cpvc works better in plunger guns. Yes, this is a plunger gun, the air is the cocking method. I may do angles mod but relocate the trigger so I can actuate the trigger valve with a solenoid and supply air via paintball "nitro" tank.

No it's not. The piston acts as a regulator valve.

Amazing. All I can say. Now I have to fix my Magstrike (The clip doesn't advance correctly) and buy the stuff and do this mod. And you say your getting these ranges with Dart Tag darts? Are these the stock darts, or are they converted?
Very, very awsome mod.

Fobpawwar: Thank you. GC actually pointed out the fact that I didn't look at the seal between the clip and that winged white peice. To be honest I can't beleive I forgot to look at that. I think the seal is pretty good but with all things on the magstrike I am assuming it can be improved. You may be able to sqeeze an extra 5 feet out of it doing that.

Trogdor: Yeah, Powerclips are obsolete.

Captain slug: I look forward to all your mods as if they were my own. (Except with more hardware)

Echo: If you use only one clip you may be able to put another band on their and give it even more strength! But you will most likely either get one super powerful clip or the piston won't work due to overbanding.

KOBL: I dont know where you would be able to tie the surgical tubing. I think it would be too strong for the piston.

TCORR911: That is the second request for a vid. Couple more requests and I'll probably do it.

Retitate: Return the damn gun already. The darts I used were standard stock darts.

Overall there is still more that can be done for range.

1: Better weather conditions. (Possible 5-10 feet improvement.)
2: Check out the air seal between the winged white peice and the clip. (Possible 5 foot improvement)
3. Use Converted tagger darts using a single BB fishing weight. (Possible 5-10 feet)

It sounds ridiculous but this thing might be able to make 100' after all.
I think I can do #2 without opening up the gun again. I will get on this and post ranges hopefully by the weekend. Of course this time the mask and camera come with me.

Reference for all those concerned: The minimum working input pressure for the internals of this gun is 30psi. I'm not sure what the ceiling for pressure is at the moment because I need to go buy a different regulator in order to find out. My assumption is that the operating ceiling for the internals is around 60psi. The tubing used in the gun is rated up to 100psi, but I can't assume that the working parts will be able to handle that kind of pressure.

So I just got my magstrike and have decided to begin to replicate this mod, but there's a problem. That problem is that I'm having one hell of a time popping off the green endcap on the pump. Any tips? Or did you just have to man-handle the shit outta the thing?

Gracias.

You have to remove all the screws from it and then use needle-nose pliers or forceps to "walk" the plug out of the tubing.
