THIRST is coming, Chris (shorter blonde kid) will most likely be there. A few new guys may show up, and one is a definate.

Our guns are drying now, dart making starts tomorrow.

And Veggie is going to be here, but a bit late, around 12-1.

I had a bike accident on Thursday and may have broken my toe. And my friend Kyle had his car crap out on him yesterday.
I'm still going to try and make an appearance so that I can meet everyone and drop somehting off for OMC, but it may be a little bit later than the start time (like around noon or so).
If not, then this will be the second war I've missed due to physical issues.

Edit: My toe isswelling up like crazy and I may have to go to the hospital in the morning if it doesn't stop. Standing up hurts alot, so it looks like I don't have any options that would lead to me being able to make it..

i had a lot of fun and so did my boys mark and trey. It was a great way for them to be introduced to nerf, with such a cool group of guys.p

I had to take ALOT of pain killers last night in order to get to sleep and I didn't wake up until 4pm today. Needless to say I feel like crap and am miffed that I missed yet another war.

I'm glad to hear you guys all had fun, sucks I couldn't have made it. I don't have too many other upcoming bills to pay, so I'll be saving a little money here and there every paycheck in case another Nerf war opportunity arises that I can road trip to. I look forward to seeing those pictures if you guys get them online, and I hope your foot is ok, CaptainSlug.

Great war guys. Everyone played awesome. Thanks for coming everybody. Oh, and Veggie, how is your friend's head? I can't remember if it was Mark or Trey but one of them was cut pretty badly. Hope he didn't have any serious injuries.

Highlights (in no particular oder):

-Dave's embarrassing Splitfire incident in the first round of the day
-My shot on Dean's neck in the beginning of the day
-Evil and I pulling off a win against four other people
-Narrowly missing Rambo's head while he was running down a ramp
-Dean and Dave running full speed into each other around a corner
-Getting shot in my left leg by Hersh's Crossbow and consequently falling
-Getting chased down and diddled by one of the Navy guys carrying a Magstrike
-Watching Bernie get owned by Dave from a foot away and hearing "What happened to the barrel tap fucking rule?!"
-Sitting atop the hill with Evil and either Groove or Dave and hearing a Magstrike go off inside the Gauntlet
-Almost getting my head taken off by one of the Navy guys shooting an SS2 at me from 10' which missed because the dart flew up
-Dean's crazy antics which included several cartwheels and a few spills
-Getting shot by a Navy guy who I had no idea was there
-Getting a shot on Jon between the shoulder blades when he was turned the other way
-Hitting Austin in the head from a distance by pure luck
-Bullshitting with Ted and Evil while everyone was at lunch
-Meeting the famous El Hombre (who if I'm right hadn't Nerfed in a loooong time)
-Finding one of my Stefans from June with my signature black dot
-Getting a shower of darts after the final dart sweep while sifting through the pile with Austin
-Meeting everybody and having a great time

Thanks again for coming everyone. I had a great time and hope I can get out there to the next one.

EDIT: Put Hombre in the list. Nothing personal, I just couldn't remember who all was there.

Yeah, great war guys, I am definitely back for good after it. Next time I'll have my own shit.

Methinks everyone but El Hombre is in the highlights . Also, I'd like to know why I was hit by a LBB knockoff from a foot when I was clearly out of ammo and you can clearly run faster than me, MIKE . It's cool though.

It was great to see so many old faces and those few new ones, although I am a bit confused, does Ompa = Austin??? He is the only person that I don't remember their online identity. Other than that, it was great to meet Austin, El Hombre, John, Mike, Veggie, Trey, and Mark (order based solely on my memory of who showed up when first). Looking forward to seeing all you guys at TFB's war and many more.

Even though only Evil saw it, my roll down the hill was quite fun, painful, but fun.

Thanks for coming everyone. The Navy guys were great. NerfMonkey was ridiculous. Ompa had a great first war. All the regulars came in force. This might be the first war I've been to in years where their wasn't one mediocre Nerfer.

Overall a great day with perfect weather. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend.

Man, what a war. Lots of fun was had by all, and I'm sure everyone is hurting as badly today as I am.

Not a very good war on my part, my guns kind of fizzled out and I couldn't get off many good shots. Which I feel necessary to comment on...Falcon, the ST2K you sold me is a piece of garbage. No, not garbage, it's a piece of shit. I'm tearing it off and putting back on my old Splitfire as soon as I get my hands on some new brass. Irregardless of how well my guns were working, I did manage to do my fair share of dodging, which is probably the main reasons I was the last one left most of the time. But hey, 4 on 1 is still fun. I like being outnumbered. It was also very nice to meet Veggie, Ompa, and Dark Shrimp. All great guys in my book.

My highlights (in no particular order):
-Getting shit from OMC for using a mod by Falcon on my rig.
-The Effeminate pole VS OMC moment...and the pole won.
-Double hit on Evil and DS, to the west side of the Gauntlet.
-The entire Basketball court fiasco: "Rambo, get Groove" then a few moments later, "fucking hit him!!!"
-Dark Shrimp and I surviving the suicide run on the top of the hill "wait, how are we still alive?"
-Celebrity Delly, decidedly the best place for to eat lunch in the surrounding area.
-Running on a crazy suicidal path, zig-zagging through the Gauntlet and hitting 3 people.
-NerfMonkey's crazy ass Blast Bazooka...that thing could shoot the wings off a fly.
-Telling Ompa to take pot shots at the other team, clearly over 100ft away, and watching everyone take a few steps back.
-Seeing all the old local guys again, Cranks, THIRST, it was all alot of fun.


I'll probably think of more in the next few days but that's all my brain can manage right now. I'm hurting all over mentally and physically. Thanks for the great war guys, we need to have one again soon.

I've got about 100 photos to sort through, 20-30 of which are too blurry to see anything because whoever was taking them zoomed in really fucking far. I'll upload the pictures to a Photobucket account here in the next 24 hours.

I really can't add anything to what everyone already said, but yeah, crazy-ass war.

As I think I've said after every DCNO, we need to do that more often.

And yes, it's Celebrity Delly. Deli just wasn't cool enough. Speaking of which, I've got to give Hersh credit for not killing anyone after the lunch fiasco. I was really expecting some bloodshed.

Rambo, I was running kinda backwards and sideways, looking at Groove the whole time. I had a full head of steam and SMASHED into a support pole for part of the gauntlet. It was so stupid. I just laid there laughing my ass off that I catullay did that, and not from the pain of slamming into the wall.

Come to think of it, there were a lot of non-nerf related accidents at the war. What an awesome war though.

I'll do my fave moments after I get home from work tonight.

Holy motherbutt! I didn't disappear! I was there and you guys saw! Haha okay you guys were so awesome. I was really really impressed with everybody's skill. Come to think of it, this was the second war I've been to that wasn't hosted by me, and it's been a while since I've had a good war, and hardly knew anyone but it was exciting getting to meet everyone and enjoy the day.

I was a little disappointed at times on my part, shots were connecting alot less than I hoped, but like I said- a LITTLE disappointed. Had my moments.

Moments most memorable:
-OMC's perfect crotch shot on me in the first round (haha ow.)
-his killer crossbow
-Darkshrimp's killer crossbow
-Ompa's very impressive homemade
-Evil and NerfMonkey turning the tables for the win that one round (omg)
-backing into the corner of one of the buildings and OMC laughing at me.. I felt so stupid but it was hilarious
-Navy guys were cool
-3 teams of 5 round.. that was hot!
-Celebrity Delly! That place pwns!
-Rambo's drinks (it was Rambo's right? that was cool of him to bring drinks)
-the location itself.. it was the best place I've played

my legs feel like fire and I missed that post-war experience..haha. Hope to do this again sometime, you guys rule!

Wtf I missed like half all these memorable moments and I definitely read "Celebrity Deli" somewhere.

I think the only person's who's blood should've been shed was Bernie's. You're right, he really shouldn't undermine you, or for that matter anyone there, and then bitch after you confronted him.

Great war! Hear are my favorite moments moments:

-Meeting Groove, El Hombre, Crank, THIRST, Monkey, Ompa, Random, Veggie and Veggie's crew
-Me and groove's double rush on the entire opposing team
-Seeing OMC, EVIL, and Rambo again
-Shooting Veggie on the top of the head
-Shooting OMC in the stomach from 10ft away during the double rush
-Seeing Nerf Monkey hit people from atleast 80ft away
-And of course taking Bitch's out with EVIL

Least favorite moment:
-Waiting an hour for you guys to come back from lunch!

-I tried to holster my splitfire in my pants and it went off right on the "danger zone". Owch.
-Running headfirst on around a corner to Dean beause I couldnt slow down fast enough--but I shot from a foot away so no taps haha.
-When using my magstrike 80% of the people that I tagged were from barrel taps--dont misunderstand me, its not skill, its how terrible the accuracy was.
-Finally finding a gun i feel comfy with--SS2--then buying one and modding it (thanks Hombre).
-Ompa's amazing clipfed homemade guns' ranges and accuracy--ompa was kicking ass
-i think Rambo actually tried to use the shotty titan for one round. He missed his one shot and then realized how disadvantaged he really was.
-when i was using my blastfire and i slipped on the wet grass head first and turned it into a "movie" slide...and then hit no one.
-Ted had a surplus of simply great reliable guns (thanks for lending me the ss2)
-Nerfmonky's awsome bigblast
-Rambo brought a huge amount of xyience
-The first time I touched the ss2 i got like 4 kills in a row when hersh proceeded to take vengeance with his amn nice crossbow
-groove complaining about his splitfire on his xbow...but jordan...you got me out a craplot with the splitfire and i dont think any times with the crossbow itself haha.
-bernie actually thought i was halfway decent with the blastfire...geeze what a mistake using that gun was hahah.
-Ted, Austin, and someone else making some really close shots from the end of the gauntlet on the ramp to where a few of us were behind the corner. The reason I couldnt identify the third person was because I was too busy trying not to get tagged out as darts whistled inches from my face...nice
That was great guys...after wrestling season we are definatly setting up another.
-hombre and me teaming up...damn cool
-towards the end i went ninja and barrel tapped a bunch of people...then i snuck up on ted and missed ahahha

I know I forgot a bunch of great times/teamwork and stuff but damn everyone at this was was skilled and cool. After wrestling season I hope to see everyone again, and thanks to everyone for coming down. NerfMonky, I found your 12 inch brass/pvc nested barrel and your sports glasses, so dont worry.
