I just went to wal mart and right beside the Air tech guns was the new tech target gun. They are $15, so i bought one. Has anyone else seen this nerf gun in stores?

Take some pics, especially of the internals. Range? Looks like it's moddable? It's at least 6 inches long, right? Nice and smooth, no rough edges?

Wow it looks very cool. More comfortable than a LNL's squarish shape, but still is big enough to hold. Looks pretty sturdy, that plastic is pretty shiney. I like the color scheme alot, and the ammo holders appeal to me. Mega guns kick ass, this thing will be cool with micros or 3/8's. With a string replacement and a good brass barrel, this thing looks very promising. Finally a good pistol, nice work Nerf!

Ok I have this gun. I saw it at walmart next to the airtechs as well. The target is freakin cool. There are holes in the barrel and air restrictors and shit. Cut those out. Its not all that good with megas, so I gave it a 5 inch brass barrel so now it fires micros with amazing speed and accuracy. Get it. I love it. Also it feels like a real gun. I think nerf is warming to the idea that most of us nerfers are older so they should make the guns more appealing to us.

The gun looks alot like a LnL, from what I see of the internals sticking out. If so, it may be a fair replacment for a fair price.

I think I'm going to go out and buy two. Mod one myself and keep the other stock. For the one i mod do u think i should use 9/16 brass or 17/32? Ive used both for guns but i can never decide which is best.

Does it shoot Megas ok? All the guns I use take megas, so I use only mega firing guns.

They're using O-rings, and nice springs now? Wow... Suddenly, I'm thinking Nerf is getting better.

I assume we'll have to counter the O-rings with some kind of telescoping constriction at the back of the barrel, though, so darts don't get sucked into the piston chamber. Small price.

Looks to me like the plunger tube might be a bit narrower than the LnL. Can someone who's bought one give us some accurate measurements (mm would be preferable to in) of the plunger tube ID and the cocked-to-rest travel of the plunger?

I'll get one to play with either way of course.

Not just a green LnL. A pretty green LnL with a target so you can shoot at plastic, not people. And wasn't this going to come out in the FALL of 2003? O well, I'm not complaining.

I checked at Walmart and Target, neither one carries ANY sort of nerf gun. All these stupid LightStorm guns. Toys'R'us carries many RapidFires and Airtech 4000s, and thats it! I have yet to find any Lanard guns, Airtech 2000s, or this new tech target or whatever. Hopefully it will get here soon

Unmodded the gun gets around 24' but that is with steps haven't accualied measured it though.

Personally, I hated it unmodded. It was accurate and fired the darts smoothly, but it wasnt as good as any of my guns (Even the blasfire. Mine sucks.... There must be something wrong with it...). So I used 9/16 brass ( I think its better. Oh i was wondering which one fits micros more snugly, 9/16 or 17/32?) and gave it a 5 inch micro firing barrel. Its awesome now, but it should probably be 4 inch instead. The plunger busted the front of the chamber out which I fixed with hotglue and epoxy. It was hard to get back in. Its fine now, but it will probably break again someday.

I went to wal-mart yesterday, they didn't have the tt's (tech targets) but they did have the reactor. it's litterally the exactly the same as the air tech ball blaster.
