I don't like the Italian team and their style of play. Even though its very effective, its too defensive for my liking. Congrats to them and all that but I was disappointed.

As for Zidane, i wouldn't go bashing him yet and hate the French for what he did. You have no idea what he heard before he got the red card. I know its still a violent act that resulted from mere trash talk, but I'm not very upset over it. I rather liked it to be honest. Its one hell of a way to retire.

That headbut was amazing! Sure it takes away from the sport but it was highly entertaining. The part that I loved about it was he headbutted his chest and took him down! Then again the Italians are know for falling over little things.

Try actually playing soccer and not just watching it on TV before making fun of its participants. You're as bad as the people who make fun of Nerf without trying it. Say what you want about it being girly but it's obvious you've never played.

To me, it looked like the Italian was playing the psychological aspect of soccer perfectly; trash talk a guy enough to rattle him, and then make sure the refs see it if he lashes back at you by “accenting” your fall. Zidane was under pressure, to be sure, but all I can imagine is that there must have been some newly invented, highly creative trash talking (the likes of which the world has never seen before) to get him to pop like that.

My friends team needed someone to play soccer for there team and I played. I was actually good but didn't like it at all. I just got the ball and ran straight into defenders. DOn't even say soccer is physical, it isn't. If I were to leave my soccer carreer and some idiot on th other team was giving me crap, I would have just hit him in the face, mainly because I have never headbutted someone else...

Soccer requires fast twitches, very good reflexes, and stamina. Being able to make quick footwork with the ball isn't required in a "brainless" sport like football (ignore my comment about foot ball being brainless, it's just there to show how stupid your comments have been).

In turn, it would be likewise amusing to see an NFL player amongst the footballers of FIFA, playing the world's game. That's like saying Dwayne Wade should strap up a pair of ice skates and try to score against the Detroit Red Wings, or vice versa.

Ummm, wow? Possibly the most one-sided view of the World Cup I have ever heard?

There was absolutely no way the Italians deserved to win. Basically every win they had up to the final were from bullshit calls, and absolute flops. I would go as far as to say I would rather the French win than the Italians.

Newspapers are reporting he called him a terrorist because he was born to Algerian parents etc. etc.
Surprised he didn't snap him in the face. Would have been far more entertaining.

Nore does someone have the right to say such things to someone. When you say things like that, you're asking for it. Keep in mind this comming from a very passive person when it comes to things like this.
