K-modding is generally a super-soaker thing. You take balloons - say, sixty or so - and cut of the neck of each one and stretch it over the bladder. It makes the bladder capable of holding more pressure, but less water.

Thanks Yogurt, but I am still not entirley clear about this process. Carrtoons supersoaker blader looked plastic, how would this affect performance? Or do you cut the plastic part off then wrap the balloons?

-Thanks

This contest may have some flaws, as people can simply be a deuschbag over the internet. By Lying.

A war-like setting/invitational would be better...

You open up the plastic part, and inside is a rubber bladder that expands when water(in this case air)is pumped into it. It basicly wants to push the water out like a balloon would, but it's a lot thicker, and puting baloons over it makes the bladder want to push the water out even more, creating more pressure. The only downside to the K-Mod is that the rubber from the baloons takes up more space than just the bladder, so you have more pressure, but it decreases shot time in Super Soakers, but in a nerf gun it would be good, because the gun wouldn't need as many pumps. I hope I summed it up good.

Thanks Zilla, I have some air tanks from a supersoaker which do not have an internal bladder but it is a single piece of molded plastic. Im thinking of hooking the two together with vinyl put a bike pump and voila, kickarse gun.

That will take at a minimum of Forever to pump up. Even just one of those air tanks would take a ton of pumps to fill. It would be possible, but highly impratical.

It's not the water tank itself. Its two seperate tanks on the gun soley for holding air.

I think he means the ball parts on soakers like the XP310, but those DO hold water, unless they're something different from a Pre-Charge soaker that holds air and water seperately, but I doubt it.. They wouldn't take forever to pump up since they're not particularly large.
