Holy crap. Its gonna be like freaking Woodstock. I guess we'll have to kick anyone who's in the baseball feilds out and we might have to commondeer some houses (just playin' about that last one). I'm going over to Little Busters house again this weekend so we can see if there are any more feilds connecting to the original one. Should we stick to 2 teams or go for 3?

-Movius

BAD: our area is reciving ass-loads of rain latley and, if you remember, the feild gets swamped with even a little rain. Hopelfully it will end by June or something.

2 More weeks of school! Hooray!

Can you make it in early July? That's when I return from all my vacations (they are like one after another...).

[Borg]Number of teams is irrelevent. Intelligence is irrelevent. Self-determination...irrelevent. You will comply...[/Borg]

Yeah, maybe we oughta spring that on the baseball players and see what they say, lol.

But seriously, baseball fields? That will offer zero cover... Or is this only part of the "designated killing zone"? Just my two cents.

Later guys.

its cool. Actually I'm just scrounging all the land in that feild type area. If you have cardboard or plywood we build bunkers in the feilds. The cops wouldnt like that but who the hell cares. Also, the feild is kinda far away from any roads so any patrolling cops wont see us.

Second that Seirus. Time is important. SENO's shooting for 10 am, I think we should do the same. The sooner we start, the longer we can go.

Staying away from cops would be a definite plus. I don't really want heavy cover or anything per se, just some sparse trees here and there to break it up. I don't know about hauling cardboard up there; there's a good chance I'll be taking a train, but I'll be more than happy to help anyone with putting the stuff together.

Keep cool.

Great idea, stay away from the cops...no! How about we go ask the mayor of that city and ask permission to shoot on that particular piece of property. That way, nobody gets hurt, and nobody has a restless conscience.

Whoa, almost vomited with rage at your tricky satire. You were kidding right? Please be kidding, cops here cant get off their lazy asses to do anything about anything. Throw 'em a dougnut and we'll be fine. Ask the mayor? Fuck that. We'll be fine, leave it up to us.

TimberWolf, I like your thinking. I myself prefer to be as stealthy as possible and trees, which we have an abundance of, provide ample cover. As for a time, morning is great, however, expect your shoes and pants to get wet because of the dew and stuff. I don't know what we'll do for food. It's funny to think of someone being sent out and reapeately pelted with stefans to get a pizza. TEE HEE! Anyway, it would be sweet if this thing could go all day, mabye into the night. That would be cool but it probably wont happen.

Alright, summer is upon us. Airapache, where do you live. Oh wait, it doesnt really matter, at this rate, you will all have to find the adress yourselves. Sorry, but a meeting point would be rediculous, we have so many people (good thing, good thing) there would almost be no point to it. Once Little Buster decides to get his ass back in the forums, he should tell you what street we could meet you on(Lake Zurich, Illinois, blah blah blah) and MapQuest can take it from there. I realise that I am being rediculously blunt about all this and I apoligise.

Asking the Mayor would be a little far, but I don't think calling the Po-po's ("po-po" means "butt" in German. Funny, huh?) just to let them know what's up isn't out of the realm, though I do think its really probably not needed. And there is something to be said about not shouting when you want to avoid being seen. Thanks for the complement though, Movius, not often do I get those. As far as getting a little dirty, I'll be in camo and boots, so no worries (besides, I was through a lot worse at Ft. Leonard wood when I did the Summer Camp there, lol.) I'm all for night Nerfing, I'll just make a point to mail order some extra darts (they are a lot cheaper that way, especially in bulk), and bring my flash-light modded LnL. The longer, the better I say, it'll just make it that much more worth it.

Finally, is there any way for those of us that might take the train there to get a ride? Just curious. There's a decent chance I might drive, but my mom's car has seen better days, so who knows. Thanks.

Okay, okay...maybe I went a little too far with the mayor thing. But you have to understand, in the city where I live, everybody is anal when it comes to things like this. Under law, we can be fined like a mother (and/or other punishments) if we are seen with anything that can project something (i.e. nerf guns). In our city, we'd definately have to ask the mayor for permission, even to shoot on our own property probaly... . As far as your cops go ( ^_^ ) ours are basically the same except at the end of the month (got to get their monthly tickets and stuff in)As far as the date of "Woodstock," I'm thinking perhaps sometime in late August or mid July.

-AirApache

P.S. Timber, flash-light LnL? That's awesome...post a pic of it.

Heh... the fine is I believe $1,300. Yes, $1,300. The guys here are NUTS! It's just ridiculous. Anyways, I'll attempt to make it, I suppose if I can get good interest in a month I can arrange for a bunch of kids to go... IF my parents will let me. I'd be exteremly interested in it, since I have my x-bow with laser pointer wired to a separate button, with a maglight on top also wired. Soon as AirApache here sees it, I'm pretty sure I can get him to run pretty far :P . If he tries to take it, I have my sm5k to take care of anybody who tries to steal my x-bow... I love the thing to death.

Sweet. Night warfare would be really cool if you think about it. We could glow in the dark spray paint stefans to make tracer bullets. That would be bitchin and it would prevent arguements.

As for these attatchment dealy-bobs, I've been thinking about jamming a flashlight or a better laser pointer into my nite finder, which I've already made a silencer for. Completly useless, yes, but it looks sexy. Next I'm gonna spray paint the whole thing black, so it looks like the SOCOM from MGS2. I'm also attatching a flashlight to my expand a blast and painting it camo. Sweet. Just thought you might want to know which you probably dont.

-Movius

Oh yeah, about the cop thing, they might be lasy, but some of them are cool. If we explain that were only shooting foam (Keep a stock suction dart in your pocket in case of this situation) they wont care. Don't shoot any windows.

My flashlight-modded LnL is actually just a standard modded LnL, but I use an extra ammo-holder from another gun I found somewhere, put that in the "slot" underneath the gun where the LnL ammo-holder attaches. When the ammo holder is attached, I put a Maglite in it. Its kinda loose, so I wrap a length or two of duct tape on it, and its solid as rock. Whole thing takes about 2 minutes or so to do. Its kind of a pain, but I can take it off just as fast for when I want to holster it (I'm thinking about making a new holster for when I have the flashlight attached, dunno). The basic effect is a modular flashlight/ammo-holder attachment, because I can still use either. I wouldn't mind having a laser attached either. Hey Ompa, do they make a cheap on/off laser?

Later guys.

Eh, I think you can get them pretty cheap- I think I saw a low-quality one for $8 at Ace Hardware... I just used I believe it's Zero's mod for adapting a maglight to use an external pressure switch on a laser pointer, and it works great.

Damn, an "external pressure switch"? lol, I dunno, I think I'll try to keep it simple. That is awesome though, I might do that if I can't find a switch laser. How much did the pressure thing cost, if I may ask?

That's the site, courtesy of Zero, it's at the bottom. He used a maglight, I used a laser pointer.
