The bigger they are, the harder, and earlier they fall.
I'm 5' 11" and I dearly hope that I don't grow anymore. I may suck at basketball, but who likes basketball anyway?
EDIT:
Actually, more on the subject of height and less on the bashing of tall people who generically think they're better than everyone else, there's this kid at my highschool in grade 9 and he's 6'9". Being that tall at so young an age is ridiculous and is probably hell on his knees and back.

Being short also rocks because I never hit my head on things.

I pretty much am happy with my height, but the real question is this: Who isn't happy with their height around here? And why aren't you happy about it? What would you change? BW said he likes being average/short because he won't die as fast as us tall people, I've said that I like it for my athletics. It'd be interesting to see what people think.

That's awsome, but what's better is that there are people signed up in both categories.
Did anyone else find it funny that there's 5' 12 and 6' ...
I couldn't resist, being 6' and all, saying i was 5'12 just was a riot... Muhahaha

I do hit my head ALOT, though. It must be really bad for the 6'4"+ guys.
6' 7" , 310 LBS, and a size 18 in shoe. And he doesn't play any sports. He could dominate in like every sport.
I have a friend like that, except he's in 11th grade. He could toss a football player into the air with one hand, yet he hates all sports. And shoes that big really get expensive.
Probably dead by now, or something.

I'm 5'9". Pretty much average, so I have no complaints or bragging rights. I'm a senior this year, and we have a 6'8" kid playing defense in hockey. It's really funny to watch all these smaller guys try to hit him. They get thrashed from it more than he does.

It was more a joke, I'm sorry if I offended anyone.
I have a very tall teacher (6'6") and he tells us all about how hard it is for him to always hunch over to talk to people and such, and that his knees always hurt and everything. I feel bad for him because he's in alot of pain sometimes.
I like being my height because I can say I'm not short, but I'm not tall. I don't have to look down or up most of the time to see people, so it's a stress off of my neck.
However, it'd be cool to see the world from you tall guys' perspective. I've never had the chance to dodge a doorframe or see over the privacy fence. I think it'd be cool to try out for a day.

Starbuck= 6'5" 241 lbs.
As a tight end going across the middle on a drag, a 5'8" defensive back is killer on the knees.
Ow.

I'm 6'1", which is, as far as I'm considered, about the ideal height; you're well above average (which is defined as 5'7" overall, but it varies by ethnicity) but not so tall that you look down on everybody, yet not so short that you have to look up at most people. It's all good. smile.gif
I agree, also being 6' 1", that it is a good height. That way I am taller than average and it has never caused me any pain or problems. Although I do have some nasty strech-scars on my lower back since I grew so fast when I was a kid. Hopefully Black Wrath's comment isn't really true though because then I'll really be screwed. You see, I'm also left-handed and it's proven that left-handed people have a significantly shortened life expectancy. Not to mention I already have a heart condition... Ah well, live life to the fullest I guess

I, as well, am left handed.
Their "proof" that left handers have a lower life expectancy is true, but it's because left handers have more problems in life due to using the other hand, so they are more prone to becoming alcoholics. Being an alcoholic is what lowers it. So, if you just stay away from alcohol, you'll be fine.

I don't wish death upon tall people, I'm just saying that's it's a physical truth that it's harder for a larger body to live as long.
Keep excercising and eating right, and keep that heart healthy; and you'll be fine.

Also, I'd like to see people chill out a bit with the MilSim thing. As I said, these are toys, and you're just messing around. You don't need camouflage, you don't need "recon", you don't need walkie talkies, you need a few friends and a backyard. Did anyone else see the picture of our old buddy SolidiusSaint wearing full woodland camo (gloves, balaklava, fatigues, hat, all leafy woodland camouflage) IN THE SNOW? Come on. Now you know it's just for show. If you do it on your own time, it's fine, but...this is NERF, and I'm tired of seeing this crap all over.
Ok, I'm done now.

It's just, well, bothersome to me. Not just this thread, but all the people who come here trying to be badass. I don't so much mind the people who contributed to the thread, as it's a perfectly legit discussion, but the creation of it just irks me, especially since I see the same pissing contest so much. I like nerf because it's NOT badass. It's just fun.
