So, here's the deal. I'm working on the KISS Avenger, basically a clip-fed KISS-3 with a few other additions. It's got a spring-fed clip, which is why it doesn't work.
The biggest problem I'm encountering is that the bungee tends to skip over the dart, leaving it just sitting there in the barrel.
To fix that, I've decided to try out the "ejectionless shell" concept I was toying around with before. It's a somewhat powerful gun, but not terribly powerful, so I want these to be as light as possible. Do you have any ideas for the construction? They have to fit in 3/4" PVC, and they'll probably be firing micros.

I'll think about it. Next time I can get to home depot I'll check out the fit and all.
One thing I forgot to add: the fit has to be LOOSE. As loose as possible. 1/2" CPVC has a very TIGHT fit with micros, which isn't what I want at all. Barrel material choice for the KISS series is generally the complete opposite of the normal choice in that regard, because air seal isn't an issue.

I was afraid of that...
Do you have a boring rod? If so, use it. If not, they are easy to make. Just Google "how to make a boring rod" or something. Then, make a way to hold the CPVC, such as a mandrel made out of an endcap and 1/4"-20 carriage bolt, and throw that in a corded drill. Put the drill in a vise, turning it on and engaging the trigger stop, keeping the drill running without having to keep your finger on the switch. Then, carefully bore out the 1/16" or so needed to make the fit loose. This will also remove a good 40% of the weight.
Those are my thoughts. Take them for what they're worth: two cents.
Ha...I could just see the whole thing shooting and hitting someone. That would hurt...
Anyway, about that boring rod, I've done that before to get 1/2" Sch40 to fit inside 3/4" Sch40 before. It took a few hours, but meh...I didn't have it on a mandrel so was doing it completely by hand. Not fun.

Another thing you could do to make the shells lighter would be to drill a bunch of holes in it like for GeneralPrimevils porting
"Rockets from the sky." jet troopers from RA2 (red alert 2)
"Can I have a target?" tanya from RA2
"Predictable." Yuri from yuri's revenge
