Speaking of which, the LS is using a new 'collarless' dart, which basically means NERF has finally accepted the idea of stephans. Makes me wonder if either they aren't worried about Mr. Moore from suing for IP infringment, or that they worked a deal with him already. I really think it's an non-issue otherwise nerf would have sued any number of people selling home made darts on ebay already.Corporations generally cannot accept "ideas" since it leads to intellectual property conflicts. R&D departments try to avoid being influenced by the community as much as possible for this reason.

The new bolt and clip systems open up many possibilties as well. And since Hasbro went through all the trouble of inventing a new type of dart just for this gun, we'll see many more clip-feds in the distant future.
Nerf is probably sceeming to make accessories for the gun, like longer clips, extra clips, different scopes, and even new weapons that fit onto the front in place on the extra pistol.
And are the collar-less darts suction tip or just rubber?
If all of this has already been said, sorry for being Captian Obvious
P.S. If the long-shot has some decent power behind it, I can see it becoming the next Crossbow.

and the maverick is called theREV-6, by the way. I just remember a mention or something about the N-strikes all having names and shit.

The "bump" in front of the trigger is there for the black thing I'm assuming is a button. But it's presence is confusing because the black buttons on the rest of the button are what I can only assume is a clip ejection button. Either the forward pistol has a faus/fake button for pure cosmetics, or it has some kind of breech loading mechanism under the forward hand gaurd.I just realized something. The pistol that disconnects from the front bottom of the longshot looks like a Lock'N'Load.
I'm patient enough to just wait and find out.

That's the most sense I've read in all 15 or so pages in this thread. Dayum...
I don't really care what it looks like, how it works, or what can be done to it. Those are just pictures, now listen to CS. Seriously, that is the greatest idea yet, just wait and see. Sure, I'm just as excided about these as the next Nerfer, but all that I really care about are the words "magazine" and "rifle." Other than that, I'm glad Nerf is finally making something for use larger peoples...Mmm...Crossbow...

If it was an lnl, why is there a yellow ccker/pump underneath the gun? Besides, Hasbro has no reason to care about the NIC enough to re-release the lnl, we make up something like half of 1% of their profits.I just realized something. The pistol that disconnects from the front bottom of the longshot looks like a Lock'N'Load. I have come to this conclusion because the triangular object that comes down from the trigger guard. It resembles it exactly! My theory is that there is a LNL type gun in the bottom and they are going to surprise all with that! They know we loved the LnL so much that they put it in a new gun! They probably just uprgraded it a little!
Coinsidence? I THINK NOT!!!!!!!

Hey Greek Assassin, your newb is showing, hide it.
In case no one remembers, there is in fact a member here who is part of the Nerf brand itself, be it Hasbro or whoever now own the "Nerf" trademark/technology.

Well, I guess we should speculate somewhat on the new guns, but remember the Mav thread? Yeah...exactly.
Sure, we're not the major consumers, but half of a percent? Come on, we are at least two percent milk here.

I don't really know if cheifthe was there or not, but they said they were on the boards, so I assume unless anyone else from nerf is on the boards than he was. They seemed like relatively new people, they had never seen a Sawtooth or a DT-3 before.

There may be a few anonymous Hasbro employees here. I dunno. They probably have no posts or something.
DT3s are awesome guns. I wish I had one...Seriously, I'd prefer that to a Xbow. Probably not a BBB, but the DT3 is second on my list...
Ha. Hasbro employees not knowing the history of what they are designing and selling. Not necessarily marketing since that is usually outsourced to advertisement agencies, but stilll, funny shit right there. Maybe that's why they have not wanted to rerelease the Xbow. None of them know what it is!
Huh. My back is bleeding, and I don't know why. That's puzzling, is it not?

Know what, forget I said it althogether. This is recockulously off-topic.
Time to try and get myself on-topic now...hm..
I think I know someone who will buy this when it comes out strictly because they can. Funny shtuff. All I said was "magazine-fed," "spring powered," and "shoots Stefan-like darts" and they wanted it. Hmm...I guess I never really got too excited about new things like this...

NOW.
Thank you.
Don't hold your breath for any re-releases, according to some conversations I had with the OMC and Shindig. The release of the Magstrike was "somewhat" coincidental that it appears to be a worked-up Powerclip (with all the goodies that users wanted), and the fact of the matter is, that they will churn out what they will, when they will. Enjoy them (BBB, EaB<?>) as they come out.
While they are sensitive to the trends of their user base, they are also not held hostage by everyone whining and demanding to have "this" or "that".
According to chiefthe (who shall be addressed as "she" from now on), there are some in their R & D departments who lurk the forums and watch to see what's happening. It's often a long while before ideas go from observations to finish product. Therefore, like OMC said early on, no one should claim 'credit' for being "the" inspiration for one thing or another.
What's entertaining for me is to go back and peruse the threads when each new line up (N-Strike UPS, Maverick, Firefly and DartTag, now the Magstrike and Longshot), and watch the speculation, the anticipation, the rush to buy when word gets out that it's in stores, and the subsequent rush to be the "first" to modify them. That, or the sore disappointment when things aren't EXACTLY how they had expected them to be. (i.e. Firefly).
Speaking of Firefly, my son is beginning to lose interest in his. Looks like that's on my 'chop list'. After I'm done with the "Green Hornet".
Don't bother chiefthe. Their plate is already full with what they do...
...as though some of you probably don't PM her already.

So when exactly in fall do we get these, and how much?
They are both $30.
I'm pretty sure that this question has been answered at least 5 or 6 times, but I can understand that you're not going to read 15 pages
I'm guessing that the blasters are coming out around September. I don't know if anyone knows the exact time
Probably dead by now, or something.

Actually, Assassin, we do expect anyone who chooses to reply/ add comment to the thread to read the entire thread through; I'm sure most of the questions would have been answered, like you so aptly noted, by perhaps page 2 or 3.So when exactly in fall do we get these, and how much?

My question to fashiznor117 is this; did you wait for 9 months before making your first post about a fairly well-discussed topic, or is there something else you want to add to benefit this discussion?
Like ANF said, the blasters are about thirty bucks. They're coming out in fall when they're ready. There's nothing you can do to hasten the process. Start saving your milk money now.
And thanks for the assist, AssassinNF.

I signed up a while back, but I do have some important and beneficial aspects of my life, such as school. I haven't been into nerf in a while.
