Wouldn't Hasbro mention that kind of thing to our representatives? Just a thought.Does anyone know whether their will be a smaller, less attractive gun coming out between now and the the fall???? if so, send pics and names?

The Magstrike to me looks a lot like a Blastfire with a clip. Only one more shot and a little airtank/stock combo. Surely, it's going to be a hit among the community. I don't think the PC is going to go out of style though. There's going to be plenty of others that prefer 4 more shots to the stock & airtank. I know that would likely pertain to me. However, I do intend to invest in the Magstrike.
Wow, I'm gone for 2 days and a 9-page topic springs up on me. Thanks to OMC, Groove, and Talio for bringing us the latest chapter in the Gospel of Nerf!

Ummm, the Magstrike holds ten bullets, not six.The Magstrike to me looks a lot like a Blastfire with a clip. Only one more shot and a little airtank/stock combo. Seeing as it is to be used as a stock and it is supposed to protect a rather fragile piece of rubber and that hasbro isn't stupid you can bet that it is made of hard plastic.could we possibly put a protective casing on the air bladder of the magstrike cause it looks like the plastic that foot pumps are made out of ?

Yes, the stock that houses the bladder is solid plastic.Seeing as it is to be used as a stock and it is supposed to protect a rather fragile piece of rubber and that hasbro isn't stupid you can bet that it is made of hard plastic.could we possibly put a protective casing on the air bladder of the magstrike cause it looks like the plastic that foot pumps are made out of ?

My bad. In that case, there won't be a shot preference. There's just going to be a sentiment preference....Ummm, the Magstrike holds ten bullets, not six.

I wonder if Hasbro is starting to re-release some of the good nerf guns?
The Longshot if you ask me looks like it would be a Defender T-3 be cause it's got that other gun attachment underneath it. Looks pretty neat, but not exactly what I had in mind
Oh, and back to the Dart Tag topic, does anyone actually use the Dart Tag vests and that other stuff in any real nerf wars?

Anyways, Hasbro must be trying to expand on the N-Strike and Dart Tag lines to make them creditable so they appeal to older age groups, therefore making more money. HOW EVIL AND INGENIUS! But I think that since the 2 lines of Nerf have been doing well, Hasbro would think it a waste of money to create another line, until the lines of guns die out.

100% Nerf, for 100% pwnage.
Nerf is a neutral weapons dealer. Anyone coughing up the dough can get armed.
and they're made of Foam... which makes them very Nerfy...

its not quite a clip, but tell me then, what is the maverick?I hope they eventually make a Nerf pistol with a clip.
it's just a little bit bulkier than a clip, and you can trust that nerf is going to stick with the revolver style they're using with so many guns. a clip pistol isn't far off, but not quite yet.

also, i think they should make a gun where it is fully automatic but there is 20 barrells, where you have to cock eahc barrell to go full auto. this way, it wouldn't run out of air on the last shots and it would be same range on each!

I think it would be Awesome if they re-released some of the old belt-fed Machine guns, like the Chainblazer or Razor Beast
Probably dead by now, or something.

But back on topic.
Since the plastic is used to protect the air bladder would that mean that we could replace it?

check out the thread "razorbeast?" under the modifications section of the forums. Some people have modified their Mavericks so that the Turret is fully removeable, so it works sort of like a clip.

Kind of. I run a Live Action Roleplaying game that uses the DartTag darts, but home-made felt vests. That way, you dont have to buy a dart tag set to play. You can make the vests for about $1.50 worth of felt. It's really good for live combat roleplaying because you get the safety of nerf with the visual cues of paintball, so there is little need for out-of-character calls, safety masks, or medical time outs.Oh, and back to the Dart Tag topic, does anyone actually use the Dart Tag vests and that other stuff in any real nerf wars?
Anyway, the new guns look awesome. Im kind of bummed that the LongShot won't be compatible with Dart Tag darts, though. The PC re-make, however, looks great!
