A working scope and bipod? What the hell? That doesn't sound...Nerfish to me, they wouldn't have done this a year ago. It's probably just a gimmicky thing to jack up the price $10 but oh well, I'll still buy it if it's clip-fed and spring-powered. Sounds nice.
As for the Magstrike, I can't wait for that. It sounds to me exactly like a PC re-released with extra clips. Maybe Hasbro is listening to people who want stuff like this.
I'm really excited about this stuff. Thanks SofaKing, I never would've found that if you hadn't posted it.
Oh, and there are no pictures, I checked the actual article out. Maybe in a month.

The pistol sounds cool, but yeah, the thought of Nerf selling anything powerful enough out of the box to make good use of a scope and bipod is unlikely. Although that really doesn't matter, as everyone in their target demo is gonna want one if they make it look good enough.
The possibilities for modding could be interesting, at any rate.

And if it stays active for more than 4 hours, consult a physician. This gave me a severe fit of maniacal laughter. It sounds a lot like Viagra for children. I sure could go for the "rush of competition and the thrill of victory".Tween boys can create big-time battle action fun with these innovative blasters in the way only the NERF brand can deliver.

On a serious note, I'm quite interested to see where this leads. The Magstrike sounds very much like a PC. If that's the case, Hasbro could see some serious profit on the series. The Longshot sounds Titan-ish, but springy style. I absolutely can't wait to see the possible innovations for these.
As for the wait, relax guys. Take out your old guns and have some fun. If these new releases are phenomenal, you might be using your old friends less. This will give you some time to think of new mods/homemades too.

I still can't tell wether the longshot is a spinger or not. 'Cause a clip loading springer would be kick ass. The longshot sounds the the asshole of nerf.

The CS sounds like it could replace the Crossbow if it's moddable. Clip fed, working scope, bi pod?! Wow... I'm impressed with Nerf's progress. It could turn out to be junk, but hey... I couldn't have imagined them marketing anything like this.

It would be great if the magstrike clips work in a pc, or will with some tweaking. I seriously doubt it, but one can hope.
Well then think about this. When the wildfire was rereleased as the rapid-fire they used the same turrets. I think they will use the same clips.I am also very anxious to see this longshot in action. Hopefully these guns dont bomb out like the firefly.

Sorry I couldn't resist.
What made me wonder is the description of the Longshot; that it separates into two independant guns. Kinda reminds me of the old Defender T3 of the Cyber Strike series, but that's going waaaay back.

I use a DT3. Gah, that's a good gun if you know how to mod it.It's not the size that matters... it's how you use it...

I think that even if the magstrike is another sawtooth, that would still be great. This means they are either:
A. Beginning to notice the intrest in mag fed blasters;
or
B. Going back to the older designs.
We can't loose. OMC, Talio, or CHeifthe, whenever you can tell us something on these, please do.
