This is my Micro Titan. RF20 tubing was used to connect the titan pump tube back to the airtank. Plumbers goop reinforced with hot glue keeps it steady and air tight.

Mods:

Over-Pressure release valve plugged

Bic Pen mod, which releases air twice as fast now

Air restrictors removed

Titan rocket air holes glued shut for maximum destruction

(Note: pump tube is spaced away from the gun to not interfere with the handle)

Duct tape soon to be replaced with E-tape, and hole in back cover replaced with foam craft sheeting.

Dude no offense but it looks really ugly, and looks uncomfertable to hold. Also its easier to pump from the back when the rockets in the fill, now the fins of the rocket get in the way when you pump. I give it a 2 out of 5 Mod rating. Good idea though, just needs rethinking

;)

Was it based on this?

It is a little smaller though, a good thing. Is pumping it awkward at all, or is there enough room?

P.S. I have the same exact keyboard.

EDIT: By the way, the second page shows some pics of it all purdied up.

Dude, have you ever seen the gun or held or pumped or fired it? No. You don't know what he'll use it for, how he'll use it or his motives for doing it how he did it.

He made the gun about 1/4 the size it was originally, I don't think Renegade was going for looks.

Take a look at the pump, the fins won't get in the way. And how would it be uncomfortable, it's got the same handle as before. He acheived what he set out to do.

Anyway, how would you propose making it smaller or more comfortable anway? Don't question someone else's reasons for doing something if you can't do it better.

EDIT: Okay Solidius, I 'whacked off' and I'm calm now. You know what? My opinion hasn't changed.

You're still a jackass.

I agree with nerfmonkey, I doubt the he wanted the gun for looks. And he made the gun about the same size as a lightnin blitz! Nice mod!

LIKE I SAID its a great idea, i agree the titan is a little to big to be running around with so I like how you lowered it down, but I stated my opinions already and got hacked on for it ;)

Renegade, I really like what you did with the monster. It's a lot more sleek. How did the RF20 tubing turn out for the pump? It seems like an effective way of connecting it.

Soldius - Cool it. The amount of posts you have made recently is about to suffice 1 or maybe even 2 weeks for me.

Wow that is amazing that you could get it that small. Ita kinda like a huge pistol if you had a holser for that it would be very funny but not very usefull. Any way great reduction.

I love the fact that the rocket is larger than the gun itself. You should bring that out to a pistols only war and start knocking kids over. Good work! How bad is the recoil?

Nice mod Renegade. I just put my pump like yours but I didn't hack off the back of the gun because I like the stock. I just used the tubinng that went from the pump to the hornet, but mine leaks because I didn't use any glue :w00t: After I did it I was afraid of the pump hitting the rocket fins but it worked just fine. I'm very happy with the pump in front.

Forums are made for all sorts of reasons. This one is to share information on nerf modifications. This forum is not for you to rate other peoples mods. Your opinion helped no one.Your rating was not useful and no one really cares about it. your opinion without any suggestions is just a waste of space. You are not that important, and no one cares about your opinion.

As mentioned in my original post, the pump tube/pumping doesn't get in the way of fins or the handle, since it is spaced out an inch off of the gun. This has increased RoF for me, because of the ability to pump it like an at2k, and not push the large stock in and out. I didn't have the extra handle on the Titan to begin with, so I had to work with what I had.

I like it. Although I suggest steadying the pump with additional glue, maybe epoxy or plumber's goop, in addition to the tape. Trying to pump the gun, and having the pump fly back from overzealous pumping, and then having the tube break off the nipple is a very, very, bad experiance.

*Sigh!* If only my parent didn't throw out my broken RF20  That's awsome! B) I think I'd love to do that mod on mine myself... maybe.
Question: What is the Bic pen mod?

I suggest finding a piece of PVC pipe, and use a bracket and screws to secure it to the gun...then slot the pump into it. More secure, the pump is protected, and it will look better.

Question: What is the Bic pen mod?

The "Bic pen mod" is just a trigger pull modification. You cut a length of the pen and put it over the firing pin attached to your trigger. It reduces the travel length of the trigger because there is less pin to pull out before the air is released. The weight of the trigger changes a bit aswell.

It's really only for tank powered blasters.

1/4" vinyl is almost the same as RF20 tubing, except a little bit stronger. That would fit perfectly so even without RF20 tubing you could still do the reduction.

I never said it but nice. It looks like a pistol. I'd add a very short barrel to make it pistol-round legal, just because it's so cool looking.

I finished modding the barrel today. Has stock barrel, instered some 1'' PVC with a 1/2 coupler at the end to use a normal 1/2 barrel, a nested brass in PVC barrel, and fire the titan missle over the stock barrel. A member of this site has done this to his titan barrel, but I forgot who it was but they get credit for that part. Single barreled with stock micro dart tag darts in 1/2 PVC it shoots great. The 1'' PVC keeps it steady, but doesn't extend past the stock barrel. The pump tube has been super glued on, and I got rid of the temporary duct tape supporting it. I will be adding another handle to where the hornet handle was. As stated before, when I began this mod it was already gone. Search for Supermaxx G-36 to see the titan from back in March.

Double post, so what? I've got teh pics!

The gun is the same as mentioned above. Barrel in picture is brass scraps that I find in my couch. So far I've found 2 feet of brass from under my couch. How it gets there? Nobody knows.

Can shoot through a mountain dew can when fired from point blank ranges. My only use for it singled is for our dodgeball nighttime "eat shit-offs". Other wise I'd be using the missle/ arrow darts.

If you want it to be legal at wars in general (not to mention useful) another alternative would be to do THIRST's quad-barreled shotgun barrel setup, or jakethesnake's 12-barrel shotgun setup (or something of the like...)

Just a thought...a four-barreled pistol shotgun with that kind of power. *sheesh*

Great job!

And holy shit that's a long barrel...where do you find retailers selling brass that long in one piece? Or is it not one piece? All I have access to are 10" tubes...

Shite, that is amazing. You do have a considerably long barrel though. Does it maximize the gun's performance? I would hate to see that pointed at me.

The barrel is constructed of random brass segments It's almost all 17/32 nested in 9/16. That'd be like 5 feet of brass. :) The barrel looks alot longer in real life. I took the picture at an angle.

It seems to shoot better with the extra foot of 9/16 I slapped on there then without it. As mentioned, I would ONLY use it single barrel'd in the dodgeball wars in my backyard. Square fenced backyard with boxes and a few trees for cover. there's really no shooting within 50' since the center line that divides the area, is in the open. I think I will be making one of those 4 barreled attatchments though. I've got all the 1 1/4'' PVC and CPVC I need.
