Hey guys, my second whole post on this board. You should all be proud of me!! The was was awesome...great to meet everybody. Yea, I agree though, those birds were awesome! Are there any pictures or videos up from the war yet?

So yea, the war kicked the shizzle in the hizzouse. Now, for the Spoon Awards:

Best Integration That Didn't Fall Apart: Groove, with his Crossbow sealing Splitfire/Cbow job.

Best Gun: As much as I'd like to give it to the Max Shot(s), Ray's Crossbow still owned us all, again.

Most Likely to be Abducted By a Child Molester: Mr. Box, for actually coming to my car with me.

Best Blatent Violation of YANO Rules: Hubbard, for TACKLING the flag carrier.

Coolest New Toy: The flags, they kicked ass. loser, you NEED to bring those back!

Most Wantonly Destructive: Mr. Box for destroying two (2) darts, and three (3) guns.

Most Likely to Get the Shit Kicked Out of Him Someday: Hubbard, for being the only person I've ever seen make Cxwq really, truly furious.

Most Likely To Be the First Nerf Haven Pinup: Groove, 'cause he's a hunk.

Most Likely To Be A Android: Brian, for outrunning ALL of us without breathing heavily.

Best Battle I NEVER Want To Repeat: The second CTF battle, it was a 40 minute long war of attrition that required a 20 minute break afterwards so we didn't die.

Most Offensive To Wildlife Activists: Our dart-catching birds. We seriously need to make a Sea World show out of them.

Most Improved: Steve, for actually having a gun that SHOOTS this time.

Least Improved: Me (Spoon), for shooting mostly air and reaching for non-existant sidearms.

Most Disheartening: Learning that Jordan's Max Shot, which I had gotten only 3 hours of sleep that night because I was up modding it, was broken cleanly in HALF somehow.

Best Female Nerfer: Stephanie, because a: She's my girlfriend, and b: She did actually kick some ass.

Best Defenders: Paul and Russel. The two unsung little guys who, along with Nerf Maniac, SINGLE-HANDEDLY defended our base in CTF without ever giving up a point.

Best Team's-Ass-Saver: Groove, for making our offense's life miserable.

Best Moving Target: Steve. "Go on Steve, just rush the base and draw fire, we'll be right behind you!"


Yea that's all I'm going to do for now. Overall it was a kickass war, even better because it was smaller. Our two new guys Groove and loser Wolf both kicked a lot of ass and were great to play with. Extra props to Groove for actually flying down here just to embarass us.

Hell yeah, those fly by's kicked ass. The cool thing was that after Ray and Spoon would rush, and if I hadn't been hit in my fly by, the other team would kinda forget about me, allowing me to sneak behind them and shoot a few people in the back. I had a good gun this time, but not the right ammo. I found some darts that are slighly smaller and put three BB's in them and they're working much better. I need to get some sling shot ammo. Then I'll be rockin.

Pics should be up within a couple days. Julie's basically done with them but Spoon and I need to finish the captions.

As far as the video goes, Julie shot nearly two hours of tape so it's going to take a while to go through it all. She may post a couple of teaser clips from the footage but the real deal won't be up very quickly.

I can't wait for Julie to put up the video. Box flippin off Ray then stomping on the dart repeatedly was priceless.

Someone picked up that pants dart. It fell out of my pants and I never saw it again. Mwaha. And the other dart, the penis dart, I think got left in Jordan's car.

funniest dart: The Penis Dart, that actually shot

best distraction: Us telling Box to run around the corner and shoot an empty powerclip at the other team, and he did it!

best gun throw: it's kinda a tie, CXWQ threw his gun over the horizon, while Box threw two guns that were'nt his.

Best way to pass the time when not-nerfing: shooting at the birds.

Just plain funny: watching Spoon's sidearm fall out while he was running, then watching his reach for it 5 minutes later.

Best weakening of the other team: Box's whole brilliant plan of making somebody on the other team indirectly touch his penis.

I would like to return to Apoc however solely so I can avenge my dismal performance from last year. When I realized that out of 30 people I was the ONLY ONE with an automatic, and we were playing in a forest, well I knew I was fucked. And I was. When I return, I will not make the same mistake again.
