Just got home and thought i should make a highlights thread.

...so here it is

2) Box laying the smackdown on my attempt at an early shot.
2a) Box putting my dart in his pants the second time.
3) Gun throwing contest
4) Box chasing brian, and breaking 2 (of other people's) guns in the process
5) very last war, paul matrix dodges my shot, and chases after me. cxwq and groove mop him propa'.
6) TIME OUT! someone shot the lense out of cxwq's glasses.

'defensive achievement' award goes to groove, who by himself twarted our fly-by attacks on the flag about 8 times in a row.

'i swear to god you didn't hit me, but i'll tackle you while you have the flag' award goes to hubbard.

'the only person who can break cxwq's gun and not get stomped' award goes to Box.

that's all i can think of at the moment. awesome war though, just the right amount of people.

The birds were so fuckin schweet! I was afraid some one was gonna hit one. I wonder what the hell they though it was. BTW ray I did number 6 .
The bad part was near the end of the day my leg started cramping up (so did Box's) In fact the bastard is still hurtin like none other

I'm doped up on a thousand millies of ibuprofen, here's what I remember

-Being first out in the first war, mainly due to rushing people with AT3ks. (Cxwq was 4/5 hits). How was I supposed to know they were that accurate?
-"Pulling a box" and going one man vs. 5 at the end of the 2nd war.
-Jordan "pulling a box" ... and actually hitting Hubbard before he conceded
-Being on the receiving end of my ex crossbow, courtesy Steve (neonerfer)
-Steve's fat welt, courtesy Ray
-Spoon shooting air out of his AT3k at me
-Chasing down that damn goggle boy (brian) at limping pace and eventually throwing 2 guns at him, causing the brass barrels to be bent. No, the guns didn't belong to me.
-Cxwq's impressive Uruk-hai crossbow throw after Hubbard pissed him off
-Hubbard acting very Hubbard like in general...that tackle kicked ass.
-Getting Ray 3 times in a row with a PC
-My leg seizing up and causing extreme pain
-Having Groove be my ammo ho
-Leaving Groove at the shopping center where we got lunch
-Falling twice in the first war because the grass was wet
-Breaking Jordan's Max Shot.



MVP award is a split between Ray and Cxwq...when those 2 were together on a team the first time they were unbeatable. Then we got wise and started targeting them specifically. (like the israelis!)

Best mod is split between Cxwq's Uruk-hai crossbow (before he hucked it) and Ray's amazing barrel and the excellent brass job on Stephanie's 2k.

Best shoes goes to Steve, who brought separate running shoes just for the occasion.

Annoying award to all the short kids, because they're so damn hard to hit.

I just can't wait to see the video of the birds. I'm going to secretly visit the school every weekend and train them to dive down and grab only the darts headed towards me.

As usual, Ray owned me.

In a change of pace, Groove and SniperWolf also owned me.

Groove and SniperWolf also cool froods which makes it easier on the ego.

Gun throwing contest?! It wasn't even close, I clearly achieved greater distance with my Uruk-Hai xbow hurl than box did with his SF and LnL tosses.

Fun war, excellent number of people. We'll do it again in 1.75 months.

- Captain Cardboard was awesome, I was really hoping to avoid it, but I ended up shitting my pants because he was so funny. Some of his antics better have been caught on tape. That slip in the first war was high class. Box runs over to the a patch of grass behind the racket ball courts, excited as hell to be playing with the big kids. No more than 10 seconds into the war, Box successfully slips and eats shit, clips flying everywhere.
- Ray, I have a welt on my side with your name on it. Your crossbow is viscious! I hope I can get my crossbow working as good as yours! With glowing pride I'll wear my scars! ...or something!
- The Hippie Headband© fucking owns all of you. No questions asked. Oh, and please, you may not quote Box on said "smoking of the cheeses..." in reguards to The Hippie Headband©.
- Groove just kicked ass. Although Ray can make minor adjustments to his darts in mid flight via Satan, Groove can adjust other's darts. I honestly couldn't hit this guy. Groove came in second for the best defence award, second only to the leopard-print-thong-wearing-midgets.

Spoon : Yeah, I've got some in my car. Come over there with me and I'll give it to you.

wow... this is my first time using an Airtech 3k and loved it, but i cant move my left elbow. nothing a little bit of motrin cant fix though.

but what an awesome Armageddon... there were just the right amount of people for great wars, and plenty of birds for our entertainment.

I discovered about 5 welts/bruises in various places on my body

that second CTF war was ridiculous... everyone was so tired, im surprised that war isnt still going on.

Rays sunglasses looked better than ever, this time with plenty of elmers school glue and duct tape.

and yes... hubbard was being hubbard, complete with making kevin angry and hubbard shooting me in the upper lip from 5 feet away... but it was all in the name of fun.

that must have been a pretty scary experience for Groove getting left at a target... especially in Irvine. but i thought it was cool that he flew all the way out here just to nerf.

Wow, add one notch to the wars that totally kicked ass. I'd like to thank everyone I had a chance to meet, you guys fuckin' rock. Thanks for the plusses too guys, I 'preciate it. I just hope I won't be working off this debt for the plane ticket forever. Wait, slavery is still legal...where again? Oh my house, that's right...well, eternity seems reasonable then. Now for some awards:

- best stealth award goes to me (man, you guys really didn't know I was 5 feet from you.)

- best overall award goes to Ray (see loser award reason.)

- best offensive player award goes to both Ray and Cxwq ("CHARGEEE!")

- best defensive player award goes to me (I don't mean to toot my horn, but...TOOT TOOT! 5 TIMES I STOPPED j00!)

More interesting awards:

- best use of a stefan involving pants and alot of downward shoving goes to box (my lord dude, I hope you didn't shoot that at anyone.)

- best use of duct-tape goes to Hubbard (your strap actually held!)

- coolest bandana award goes to Steve (trippy, man...trippy.)

- best use of distraction award, aka - run around, cursing & taunting and firing off blank PC clips goes to box (self-explanatory)

- most annoying award goes to MARIO WHO WOULDN'T LEAVE OUR FLAG ALONE! GO AWAY! SHOO!

Overall, best war ever for me. Thanks for the memories guys

Best Neglected Toolbox - Franko, Jon's poor box of tools

Upon inspection, there's some very colorful things in there. Among the least colorful is a Crayola marker. Red to be exact, the big kind... There's a whopping 4 tubes of anal lube, though I'm sure he's using it for his plungers. A pair of fluffy pink handcuffs, they always seem to come in handy(no pun intended, mind you). And amazingly enough, a leopard-print thong. I think I see a connection here!

my highlights

- box tripping twice

- box stomping on the dart, yelling, ect. at the opposite team

- hubbard diving into the tree to get the flag, tripping me in the process

- the hungry for foam/flying worm birds

- ray's crossbow o' doom (i personally never experienced,) steve's welt was proof enough

- groove behind the tree

- box to spoon "i'll spasm you" while cramping on the ground

- my lazy dart into rays chest.. heh heh

- the wars were awasome

- hippie band

- the wee ones

- everything else

Oh yeah, I almost forgot! My darts without enough weight in them were the best! They'd do all kinds of crazy things. One time I shot at Ray and it was going right at it's chest only to spin out and flutter down RIGHT in front of him. The hip cat that he is though, he counted it. Another time, Ray was towards the middle of the class rooms and I was near the grass. I shot at him and a dart slowly glided towards him. To both of our disbelief, it hit him very gently. Now that was one hell of a lucky shot. I think I hit Ray maybe 4 times while he took away EVERY SINGLE HIT POINT I had during the course of the day.

i thought the war was today darn it! I spent all day yesterday preparing my gun. I as so excited to finish it, and then when I woke up today I though 'could the war have been on saturday' So I get out of bed to check, and just my luck. Ah well, it sounds like a missed alot, but I'll be sure to remember when the next war is.
