Well I got into Nerf from my step dad when he held cubicle wars. He used a Power Clip which he gave me after he got a new job. That technically was my first gun, but the first gun I actually bought was a Nite Finder.

I don't remember what my first gun was called. It was about 7, maybe 8 years ago. I had this large, unwieldy, 4 shot gun from the mid 1990s that I highly doubt remains in production.

Could it possibly be the Manta Ray? That was large because of the shield and it had four shots.

My first nerf gun was the all mighty B 'n A. I got into nerfing just shooting some friends when I was like 6. Then later I just kept getting more and more nerf guns. I finally searched nerf on the internet, and found some nerf sight with a mod, then I went running to my dad and said "Dadddy, daddy, there's theses neat people who can make nerf guns go super far, can you dothat for my nerf gun, can you can you can you?"
Then my dads like "Well, it seems to hard, I don't think you should be doing that any ways." So, I remembered the NIC later, and thought I'd give it a whirl, so here I am today.

I loved me old iron tail and SS1, then I got a triple torch. I guess these were good guns to start with and they were really fun. They all had potential and it just took time before I wanted more out of them and how I came to these boards.

Slightly off-topic, my older brother is an Annapolis alumnus.  What year are you?  I remember seein' the Halloween thread from a while back and thinking to myself, "Holy shit-- Batman's in a Bancroft Hall dorm room!"

I just started this year so I'm a lowly superior. Not a very fun year as I'm sure you've heard.

What's your brother up to nowadays, is he still in the Navy? What was his service selection?

I think my first gun was the original BBB that I got for Chistmas when I was five or something. As for nerfing, my nemaverick that my mom got me threw my mind into launching foam at people.

Sharp Shooter 1, although I didn't really get started truly nerfing until a number of years later when my brother came back from camp where a friend had shown him what nerfing was about. Then I got myself a SM 1500 and that was it.

First Gun: TTG

Story: The TTG was stowed in my closet, and I was bored one day so I got it out. Then I ran around the house shooting stuff. I liked it. Later I went to KBtoys and got the Night Finder. From then on I was In to Nerf.

My first Nerf blaster was the Bow n' Arrow. Badass motherfucker that thing was. I got the 2nd edition (purple and pink).

The first gun I bought was a Lock n' Load, and I've collected 3 so far.

I got into Nerf through my friend who stumbled on Foam Fortress' mods directory. I was interested when he told me that there was a way to make Nerf blasters shoot harder and straighter.

I checked out the Fortress, found the SM5k mod, found Nerf Haven, and here I am today.

I must've started Nerfing like this when I was 14, and got my first gun when I was 8.

I think I got my first gun when I was actually younger than 8, hence the main reason why I don't know the type. I lost interest in Nerf around 2002, and just this year got back into it due to a competition at school. I found Nerf Haven in December 2004, but I didn't have interest in getting back into Nerf until recently.

NB-1 Missile Launcher, but I never really played with it much because everything on t kept breaking. Then I got a ballzooka which is the coolest nerf gun ever created.

The front handle snapped off. The thing that held the pole in place broke. Then the shell cracked in half.

My first NERF gun was a NF (old). I got it after threatening my parents with the eventuality of airsoft and paintball . That sure got them going, and before I knew it, I had a Dart Tag Set, BBB, Mav, Crossbow, rf20, and FF.
Last year, I found one of the most rare NERF wepons ever, the bungee blaster, in my grandma's closet in Florida. Turns out, it's been there since she got it for me back in '98! BTW, that thing rocks! Semi-auto, fast reload, 35' flat range.

I've had a SM1500 as far as I can remember. Ompa asked me one day if I had any nerf guns and I questioned his motives. Upon learning the reasoning behind his question, I began a quest of mine own.

I got my first nerf gun when i was 8 i think and it was a secret shot 2. It broke pretty fast though so my second gun (pc) was the first one to actually get me into nerfing. I still have that pc and it's still one of my favorite guns.
