A well-holstered sidearm is valuable whenever there's a chance you'll run into more opponents than your primary can handle at once. Or if your primary takes awhile to reload. Or if you miss with your primary. Or if you want to go around a corner all akimbo and get smoked with style. Or... you get the picture.

If you mean sidearm in the strictly low-range, quick reload sense, I'd have to agree with you, considering the ability to graft an extra shot to your primary. But for expansion of battle effectiveness, hostering is quite useful.

No, but I have a big [BLEEP] gun. That's good enough for me!

If anyone was wondering, I'm RoboNerfer from NO. And I'm U.n.c.u.T.! on NerfHQ.

That's not saying much.I can run full speed, jump, dive etc
Yeah, as a crossbow user, an additional shot comes in handy a lot.

Really, we could argue this all day, I think in your size wars with your gun a sidearm isn't as necessary (although I'd still use one, but thats just me) as it would at a war the size of most of ours.

Guns like Lock & Loads, SplitFires, and MonoBlasts, really are good to have around. Especially for people with setups like Vacc, who uses a CrossBow. Like I think he said before, the sidearm is more so an insurance policy than anything. It's there when it's needed, and only then. Sidearms are a great way to insure victory, although I never found myself good with one.

Oh and yeah I use a sidearm my LnL I love it...grr if only I had bought more. Especially in indoor wars were I tend to use a blastfire wth only shots my ammo is wasted preety fast so my LnL help me feel safe, and let me reload honestly I get about even kills with my guns.
