We need to pick a weekend, either the 21-22 to accomodate some NJ people, or 28-29 which cuts out a few. As much as I would like to have LCMers there, I don't know how viable it will be. At least we have reckoning. After reading over the thread it's the only options.

SO with that said, I vote Saturday the 28th or Sunday the 29th. I will be staying in Baltimore most likely so I can make either one.

I'd prefer a saturday if it's going to be after the 17th. Once the semester begins it's going to be a pain to get down there and back up on a sunday. The people from my group are talking about staying in a hotel saturday night of the weekend of the war.

Normal rules apply, I will not drink the night before so I can be as fresh as possible. If it snows the war will be pushed back a week.

Can we agree not to pussy out if it snows as long as road conditions are still good? Obviously you don't want to make people travel in dangerous conditions, but if a couple inches fall and all the major roads are pretty clear I don't see why we can't nerf in the snow.

Well, unless we could figure out a park that is closer to Annapolis, then we'll change to some saturday that works for Veggie.

Also, if Suave gets some dates, He will also get more priority.

EDIT: But in all seriousness, How about the 28th? It's a saturday. And I'll be able to attend^_^ However...that leaves out Veggie, but we also need to find a new place that is about 20 miles closer to annopolis so Veggie can come.

Well, it seems as though my only possible way to make this war is getting a ride from NerfMonkey, provided he goes and can swing by and get me. I'd really prefer a Saturday, as we'd likely be making the trip there and back in 1 day. Just keep me posted and I'll try my best.

Here's my proposal.

Make it a 2 day weekend long event.

DCNO will be Saturday Jan 21st from 10-whenever
AND Sunday Jan 22nd from 10-whenever

Saturday's events will be hosted by a combo of OMC, Talio, and/or Groove
Sunday's events will be hosted by locals Cranks and THIRST, or perhaps OMC again.

What does everyone say to that?

I myself would only like to attend one day so that I may spend the other day with my girlfriend and our friends in Baltimore, but if she can't get off work for 2 days, I'll gladly Nerf both days. I believe she has saturday off work, so i;d be in for sunday, BUT I'll let you all know later today.

Yeah OMC, I was thinking that as well. I'll definitely throw down some money for a hotel room Sat. night. I want to meet and Nerf with as many people as possible so I'll go both days, but I can't stay for all of Sunday, I'll probably leave a few hours early.

You'll only be there for part of the day, Saturday, Cranks? I drive 2 hours to see everyone and that only gives us a couple hours to play grab-ass. I'm thoroughly disappointed.

If anyone needs eye protection, I'll be bringing a bit extra, but be warned; they're dorky safety glasses I use while Dremeling.

If you get out of line, I'll take care of it. Just ask THIRST about the "stare down." EVERYONE needs to supply their own ammo. I will not under any circumstances give it out. You can use my guns, but they are all 1/2" PVC modded for megas or zeros. I will however have some micro barrels for my primaries.

This is a DC hosted war, so Cranks and THIRST are running it. HOWEVER, if I believe there is too much faggotry going on, I will make myself heard.

Actually, I meant along the lines of rules and such, since I'm not very experienced, not faggotry - I'm a pretty quiet kid.

And actually, I use megas as well, but I shouldn't have any problems with my 2ks; they haven't failed me yet. I think I've heard about the stare down, something about staring at your eyes and you starting to laugh?

I'll be there, you can count on me whooping you all.

EDIT: Sweet, I'm counting on you being there sniperdude, and if you're not, I'll beat you with a metal pole.
