Me and my friend in Maryland played "black powder nerf" like this. We took Urak bows of his and put CPVC on them and of course a ram-rod went under the barrel. Then, we took a small peice of FBR with no glue, and placed it in the tip of the barrel about 3 inches in it. Then, we added BBs (as black powder in a way) and a shotgun stefan at the end that had been underweighted. The stefan would be the shot, the BBs, the "black powder" (because we had those little loading bottles) and the small FBR as the wading, though it was before the "powder". We soon got interested in western guarilla warfare where these bandit soldiers used pistols against the confederate army. They were able to hold 6-8 pistols, all with 6 shots a piece with the confederate having 1 rifle a peice. I showed up with a jacket with 4 Mavericks in it and 2 on my side. I owned him.

I have also used shotgun stefans in airsoft games. I stuffed a wad of TP, then BBs, and an unfinished Stefan. This worked great to kill the guard that captured me. I slyly pulled a SSPB out of boot and shot him. A lot of people make homemade airsoft pens to d othis. I wanted 20 bbs, not just one.

I will have to try your idea out sometime.
