When: January 6th (that's not far from now), I want it to start Sometime around 10-11 AM, till we feel like ending it.

We generally end up with a planning thread and a recap thread for each war as it is. I don't want to start a trend towards increasing that number.

Bags, how's the moddage coming along? I've got one manta ray soon to be on its way to my house to modify, and then two airtech 2k's, a Secret Shot 2, a Buzz Bee Double Shot, and a Splitfire (which will take extra long; you know how much time I spend on my personal guns...dear god I'm so anal...which means thorough for you sick-minded freaks.)

I've still got a fatty load of darts left from YANO, but I'm going to need to make about 6 more full refill packs of stock dart tag darts into my stefans before I'm completely ready. After all, I supplied 6 people at YANO. I'm supplying 15 people at N:WC-1. Thank goodness I've got Apollo, Nightwing, and a two week winter vacation all in a close vicinity, or I'd never make it...

Are you in need of some brass? I have a friend of mine from pipe band who works at the "Train Stop" hobby shop near downtown San Dimas who's been hooking me up with all the 17/32" tubing I could ever dream for. I'll have both Pyro and Apollo's SM 1500's brassed within a week, he's gotten me so much. The best part it, he's been getting me the employee discount. You're still using your UBS system right? If you need a crapload of 9/16" for the backs of those barrels, by all means, let me know, and I'll get him to help you out too.

Good luck. If you need some help with a gun, etc., let me know. Believe me, I'll be doing the same soon, I'm sure. Freakin' procrastination. I love doing it, but the effects of it once the War Date Sneak up on me are crazy. The only difference between procrastinating work on Clan Member's guns and Schoolwork, is that one of them gets done by the due date.

And no, it's NOT the schoolwork.

To Falcon: Sorry for not responding, I haven't been doing a whole lot of the typing on the forums lately.

I'm doing good on mods and Brass, in fact, I'll be done with just about everything before 2006! my big problem is with my new order of white foam hasn't gone through, and i'm a little concerned, it's not good to host a war and have no ammo...

Holy crap this is getting close! I can't wait!

(looking for some more takers, I.E. Desert Storm and even Mr. Spoon and crew perhaps?)

Oh and here's something I've been meaning to compose:

Rules and other KEY points about N:WC-1

* Eye protection is a MUST! I don't have anything against someone who uses sunglasses as their eye protection, but if they don't do their job, it's your loss.

* no single-barrel micro dart shooting titans/sm5000s are to be used in actual foam combat, feel free to bring them along, because I'm sure there may be a couple of low times in which they may be incredibly fun to mess around with.

* let's try to stick to only one article of clothing having a camo pattern, hell we're nerfing at a park.

* Bring your own ammo, that's a given but one that must always be stated.

* also I don't really wanna deal with the whole H2H thing, at all.

- once again I will point out that we are nerfing @ a community park, and I can only reserve us about 2 hours of unarrupted mayhem, there are good chances that there will be little kids and bitchy parents, it is inevatble. we have two locations to fall back on, so its cool.

- due to the location of Horsetheif Canyon, Food options are a good 2-3 offramps away, so bringing a lunch wouldn't be a bad idea, I'm going to attempt to arrange ordering pizza if y'all
are up for it though.

- I would like to see people start showing up around 10:30-11, I'll be there with my Local Narfers around 10-10:15.

- The Most Important thing is that we have FUN! w00t!

Okay, there's been a massive change with one of my monthly Pipe Band weekend rehearsals, and I cannot make the 7th. The rest of my clan can, so don't worry about it. I'm over it...

I'll be sending my clan with a shitload of stuff. I think.

I'm hoping they don't wuss out on me. Just because I'm not going doesn't mean that they can't, does it?

I'll be checking up on this. If most of them decide not to, then there is the option of bumping the date back one day, to the sixth...

But I'm not a deal breaker (as I have stated before), and it's YOUR call, Bags, so if things are still all green, then I'll look forward to seeing you at the next YANO/Spring CAFF.

awww man, I really hope your crew does come still. It sucks that you can't make it, I'll toss around the idea of it being a day earlier, but I think I'm gonna stick with the 7th, or if i move it, I'll be moving it to the following weekend. as of now the only reason for me to make the move is if it's raining, or if it's been raining during the bulk of the week of because our feild of war has a tendency to get all muddy.

I can make the next weekend now, as the practice was moved from that weekend to the 7th-8th. I hope it's raining...

In the event that everyone from your group is okay witht he 6th, I've passed it around a bit, and everyone seems to be okay with the 6th. The following weekend shouldn't be a problem either.

If worst comes to worst (for me) and it remains on the 7th, I might be able to fudge my way out of practice, but with parents like mine, that's not likely.

Oh, and Cx told us at the last YANO that he can't make the 7th, period.

Just so you know, since he was still on your list.

I've never been in a Nerf war before, The only guns I posses are two modded(air restictor removal) bbbs. Although I asked my friend to get me nerf guns, so hopefully I'll be able to have some kind set going. So if i can make it, count me in.

I'll be attending college in SD next year (september of '06) so when I have time off, we could probably get together some guys from around there. San Diego already has a sizable group of nerfers in the area who aren't clear up in LA County like a lot of us...

Ok, I Google Earthed it, and it's 67 miles. 58 minitues it says. I'll try to work a deal with my parents(my dad likes nerfing, my mom couldn't find the crossbow, so she bought a second 3b for my dad). He might be able to make the trek.

Thanks bags. I'll spread word. Right now, 14 of us are going to be there. Sputnik can't make any day that whole week, including the 7th, because of a new job. We haven't seen much of him at all. We think even Nightwing's going, even after his announcement at YANO that he was retiring, because of school, and an imminent joining of some branch of the military...but we think we've got him for one more.
