Hi, I also live in MA. I'm located in Wellesley, not to far from the only suggested park. I used to nerf with about 10 friends, but it has kind of died. I’m considering coming, but I'm still pretty indefinite. I might be able to bring one or two friends. I have enough guns for me and my friends, and enough darts. In fact I have a ton of darts, stock piled from past wars. I am willing to sell these for what ever seems to be a reasonable price. I don’t care about the date as long as it’s a weekend, the 25th is the earliest for me, but don't plan around me. What’s the age range we are looking at here? I'm just curious. Also, will a brassed SM5k (what I hope to use at least some rounds) or titans (don’t worry I wont use a titan, just laying out rules) be allowed? I hope this pulls together.

Yay, another person! Excellent... anyone you can bring is great.

As for the Titan, SM5K, homemades or other questionables, I think we shall adopt the policy that there must be a unanimous agreement for them to be used. If any person, even one, doesn't want you to use it, then we won't. Also, I think it'd be fair to ban outright anything that shoots over 175ish, for obvious safety reasons.

The age range is somewhere around 13-18 to the best of my knowledge. I myself am 18.

Okay! Now we have enough so that if some don't come, we still have a cushion to land on. We need a solid date, however, because my parents are gunna get pissed if they don't know exactly when they should be driving me. I'm hearing a lot of 25th and 26th, and I can do both, but i can't do those other ideas, like the ones in the PM that user sent out.

the 26 works for me, and i have a tank relocation'd SM5K, is that ok? It gets like 100 average. I have no other gun in working condition, because I'm ether working on it, or fucked it up.

Considering some of us don't have impressive arsenals, everyone should bring all working guns ( or fixable ones ), ammo, and materials for modding, such as tools, brass, copper, PETG, tape, hot glue, etc. Everything that you think might be useful. We might spend some time at the beginning modding if we want to, or have some mod while the others have a small game going on. It all depends on what people bring, and what we're interested in doing. Oh, and i will pay someone if they go out and get 5' of 9/16th brass and 1' of 17/32 brass, i'll pay for the price of it plus $5.

Alright, I do hereby officially set the date for the Massachusetts Nerf Off for Sunday June 26.

We have a fair amount of people. Good.

Everyone bring as much or as little gear(guns,stefans,etc) as you want, I'd recommend much.

Location isn't official yet, and the only place we have a fair amount of info on is the place Kljadh scouted out. 125 Jason St. Arlington, MA Menotomy Rocks Park. By his description it seems like the perfect place, I e-mailed him, so hopefully I can get in touch with him and see what the place looks like from his pictures.

Time: I'm gonna say 11-5. Not to early, and not so late that it cuts into dinner time. Tell me what you guys think of this.

TS I can get you the brass probably, but I want to make sure two people don't get it and I get shafted wiht more brass than I need. I also have some PETG thats tighter than CWQX's, I could sell some of that. Secondly, userjjb do you mean Saterday the 25th, or Sunday the 26th. You said Sunday the 25th. I personally would rather just nerf, but I'm cool with modding for like an hour. And who said we have bad arsenals? I find mine respectable. I wont be on too much due to finals and a small trip, I'll be back and on vacation on the 20th.

User - 26th, as NOB said, would have Kiljhadh coming, and I would like the biggest total of people we can get there. If there are any problems with the 26th, TELL US SOON! As you may have realized, we only have another week (*EDIT* Heh, just kidding. After user's post, i do realize that we have over 2 weeks. *END EDIT*). Also, i think that people should leave according to THEIR schedule - how much time to get home, when dinner is, etc. For my family, dinner is usually 7-730, and we're 10-15 minutes away from arlington, so i'd probably leave at 7 if other people were still there, but if it's just me and Yazz (also from lexington) then i'd leave. Just a suggestion. I'm willing to come earlier as well, i would like the longest possible time, because it's basically the only nerfing i'm doing all summer, and it's my first war. Just ideas, again.

TS, the brass in total would be like 20 bucks, I get it for 2.50 a foot before tax. I'm not too thrilled about starting before 11, I like to sleep in. Are we going with the only place suggested? And are we sure everyone can make it the 26th, I think we should get a head count.

Yes, original post edited, I meant the 26th. (TS I think you meant to say two weeks and a couple days to MANO)

As for the time, if you guys want to come earlier or leave later that's fine, but the minimum range is 11-5. I thought 6 hours was a good length since it was suggested in the article on NH about organizing a war.

If you guys want to mod, come earlier than 11, we officially nerf at 11. Also, don't forget this is a park, meaning no good working surfaces (except maybe a picnic table), and no electricity for that glue gun. I'd suggest modding in the comfort of your own home.

Once Kiljadh gets the pics up and we agree on that place, we have to pick a meeting place in the park.

User - Damn... i forgot it was a park... no electricity... you see, this is the problem. I'll be getting my brass there, so i won't be able to mod before hand, therefore i'll seriously suck... oh well.

Kiljhadh, is there a place nearby that we could get some electricity? Probably not, but i'll bring a plastic cover just in case.

NOB - I'll be making stefans all this weekend and next, but it'll only total around 200. I have some stock darts, but those don't count. Hopefully, someone else will bring a shitload, because I'm gunna need most of mine. I'll be happy to shell some out.

Kiljhadh, how far is your house from the park? Is it walking distance? If so, modders could, theoretically, come to your house to mod, then walk over to the park with you. That would work better, for there is an obvious lack of electricity in the middle of a park.

Arcanis/userjb, could we have a set-in-stone headcount? I'm just curious, and it's probably just the old list plus 1 or 2. Thanks if you can do so.

I understand the fact that you're getting the brass there to mod your gun, but you can just borrow someone else's gun (my aresnal has grown, use one of them). Alternatively, I could just bring my epoxy and my pocketknife, which requires no electricity, and will work just as well as hot glue and a dremel.

Haha, you've never met a human before, have you? People are us unpredictable as... well, I can't think of anything funny, but suffice it to say they are unpredictable. However, it would seem we have at least a solid six, but could be upwards of ten.

I talked to shadic (Kiljadh's friend), and was told that Kiljadh will not be coming. Apparently, he's not coming "because he doesnt like the fact that we're using stefans" and "he thinks why take a simple game of nerf and make it hurt like paintball". I said that it doesn't hurt like paintball, and that it's mostly for performance and cost reasons, not to hurt each other. But I was told "well I cant conveince him to go". So, looks like we lost Kiljadh.
