[Team Slaya]

Are there any Boston area nerfers around? There seems to be no one except my couple of nerf friends, but most of them borrow my guns. And yes, i searched the site, but the only thread was 2 years old, so i decided to make a fresh one.

Well I'm afraid I'm not much of a nerfer, yet, but I plan on remedying that.

However, I do live in MA. I live about 20 minutes west of Fitchburg/Leominster (in the summer), and go to college in Lowell (the rest of the year). I also have a couple of friends who nerf that go to school in Lowell as well, several of which are from the area.

Ok, well its good to know someones out there. But can you give me the approximate distance from boston?

From Lowell it's about a 30 minute drive for me to Alewife (I usually take the T from there if I'm going into Boston). From my house in Winchendon its about an hour drive to Alewife. It'd be neat if we could do something before college lets out and some of my friends who live farther away go back. I could probably gather up 5 or 6 friends before school lets out. Finals start on the 14th of May and end the 21st so perhaps we could set up something quick this week or perhaps next week. As for during the summer, I'm usually free in the afternoons and weekends, as is one of my friends, who will be in summer school and also lives in Peabody, which is right near the Boston area.

I know there's a good amount of Nerfers in Connecticut. Hopefully they'll pick up this topic in time for you boys to get a war going. If not, check out NHQ's forums also. Couldn't hurt. Good luck.

The FDG is in the Exeter-Portsmouth area in NH. You are the closest nerfers to us that I know of.

User - Awsome. i'm still in middle school (8th) but could get a ride somewhere around alewife/lowell, that isn't too much of a problem. The thing that is is free time, i don't have much. If i have an unbooked weekend/half day/day off i'll post in this thread, otherwise, give me some times and i'll try to reply quick.

NOB - Sweet. Always good. Where in MA?

ssgt - What's the FDG??? If you have something coming up, let me know, i'm always here, and with a friend to bring =P

The FDG is a clan based in southern NH, we dont go to other wars, because of parents complaning and all that crap. However, you MIGHT be able to come to our wars, if our parents approve or somting like that.

I've got some great locations around my area we could use for a war. I can also get maybe 3-4 of my friends interested.

Well then the next step if people are interested is to pick a date/time/location and get a good amount of people to commit to it. I'm assuming people will have a good amount of free time after school gets out. Maybe we could plan something for June or July. As for location, I'd say somewhere fairly close to all of us so people don't have to drive too far.

Arcanis if you have a good place to nerf that you've used before that would be cool. Is it a public place like a park etc. or is it private? Have you nerfed there before without trouble?

If people are serious about getting together I'd definitely be interested in going, we just have to make sure that things are organized and people are committed.

I think the best time would be RIGHT after school gets out, like... the next day. Could people tell me when they get out? Yazz and I get out very late June, like the 25th.

I live on a dead end street; my house is 300 feet away from Wompatuck State Park. Yet, now that I think about it, it's not exactly the best place to go; the only cleared areas are pathways and the rest is just foilage. There's also a playground, but that's a public one right behind Town Hall. Oops. As for the date, you're going to have to give me a second here. The people I know can come don't really have adequate things to nerf with. I'd need to go over to some store and pick up a few more guns for the crew. Also my stefan count is a bit low. So basically, I don't have any place that's entirely suitable.

Could people start spitting out some dates? I'd really like to know the general time, broad at first, that this is gunna happen.

Aracanis, i doubt that you'll have too much to do in the next month, and then in your free time could make stefans. I gotta go out and get another package of caulk saver and some 17/32" brass, but I still have some saver left. I'll also bring saver, glue, and weights to it. I could also bring extra guns, once they come from ebay.

I also just realized that we need to call it something. MANO will work, but i always like originality. I'll post again when i think of something.

Yea. I have good places near my house. Lower Vine Brook and Revel's Hill. They both connect by back woods. Lower Vine Brook might have too much trees and shit, but the hill is clear of stuff. Not much cover at all though.
