More news, gentlemen. I've just been informed that the Wave will be joining us for the war, as well, since he gets home from school this week and has no other Sunday plans for the 29th.

Alright, let me see what I can do. If the Horsemen are actually showing, I'd be a dope to miss it.

Give me a few days,

You are looking at a solid 4 hours. It can be as much as 5 hours depending where you are in relation to DC.

I'm definitely looking forward to this weekend.

For reasons of security/cops possibly showing up, I would rather that you not. If you do, make sure it's pretty clear that it's separate from what we are doing. How about you bring them and show them off after we are done with our nerf war?

I don't want to be a dick, but I'd rather not try to explain to a cop that we are actually firing nerf darts and that they aren't just a cover for airsoft. It just doesn't sound like the best situation. Minimizing the danger of stefans isn't hard, however cops know airsoft.

In short, do it in a manner that doesn't cause us problems. We're all 18, so we can't play the "dumb kids" persona anymore.

Wow Twin B, that was subtle. A new gun that could kill someone and you only get one shot before a long reload time. Whatever could it be?

Honestly though, if you use a titan, I'll be using a single barreled brassed 2k. Not out of spite, but I like it and it's far less powerful then a titan.

Actually it's worth asking, are we capping gun performance on this one or are we allowing it to be open?

Also I'm not reading this whole thread so where are we playing and when?

More importantly, I'm off the next day, so where and with whom are we drinking?
(That is those who are over 21)

I say we get 40's and crash Shinny's place!

Certain guns won't be allowed, but that's up to us when we get to the park and test-drive them for the entire group to see. I don't want guns that will encourage stand-offs and boredom.

11AM @ Mill Creek.

Drinking is tricky, I'm not sure where we could go or crash or have a good time. Sorry.

And why can't we use all guns we never outlawed "DAMON" or "KAIN" so.......I rest my case

Rest what?

Daemon and Cain are PVC modded 1500s/750s. Max range of 80 feet? I might hit something at 50? They won't leave a bloody welt? At best they hit with some authority but their's no way you can make the case that they are comparable to a Titan.

By the way when I read "DAMON" on your post I immediately thought, "MATT DAMON". Hehe. Team America may never get old.

Yeah, I'm going to have to go ahead and agree with you here. From what we shot at Gnomefest last year, even a pvc modded Titan out of a barrel belonging to Langley (I'm not sure what gun he was using, probably a Maxshot so take into account barrel length) was a pretty wicked shot. We fired it from the Philly kids car (parked I believe one spot over from the fence, if I'm not mistaken) and it shot clear into the play ground. I think that's a little much for what we do. Not to mention, I know not everyone wears eye protection, so I'd use caution when aiming that thing. I can't honestly say I'll be happy if you shoot me in the face with it.

Talio.

I don't know guys. I can honestly understand you concern with the long range hard hitting guns and the whole thing about trying to get into stand offs. But is almost seems like your trying to make the game easier for you and harder for other. Honestly Evil the only time i have hit you is either when your out of ammo, at very close range or and very long range..... I can deffently understand the whole shooting 100 feet thing but my Titan doesn't even do that. I did PVC mod it but it goes maybe 75 80. I dont know im not wineing but I do and don't see how it is fair. The whole range thign does keep everyone on thier toes. We never did you it in siege so i don't know why there should be restricitions. I'll tap someone before shooting them point blank. Talio should understand that after he hit Hersh point blank with his brass at2k sometiem ago and tindal park. I'll bring everything i got with me sunday but I'll fight to use the guns i have worked alot on which some are and some aren't those long range bazzokas and spear guns we use. (Evil and Shindig should know what I Ment by that.)

(edit) I do also remember some bloddy welt made by 1500 and LnL's before. I do count my paintball marker incodent with Death a long time ago. But this is why we did come up with the "tap" rule.

Why don't we settle this when we can actually see the ranges of the guns in question?

If we have problems, people can use different guns. A small arsenal shouldn't be a problem, because let's face it, Hersh has enough guns to outfit everyone there.

I agree with Shindig, but as I told him earlier, if something is being used that I feel could cause eye injury, I'll be finding a strip club nearby. I'm not saying this to bitch or because I want to make it easy (and for someone who has done as much trash talking, the point seems less then valid, we're easy to hit remember?) it's that I don't want to lose my vision. 75 - 80 isn't bad, but as Shinny said, we'll see at the war.

We're restricting guns to keep it fun for everyone. Stand-offs aren't fun and taking pot-shots encourages poor sportsmanship because we call them "cheap" hits.

Bring your gun to Mill Creek on the 29, and we'll get everyone to check it out to see how we all feel about it. We're not trying to make you bad, we're trying to make everyone (relatively) equal.

Maybe about four hours, I think? I used to make it from my house to Annapolis, MD, in three hours.

I shocked as hell, but it looks like I'm going to make it. I don't know how I managed to pull this one out of my ass, but it worked out. I'll be there early seeing as I'm traveling alone.

Now we need to talk about what bar is being hit for the after party. Vacc, Joe, Hersh? You guys in?

Hehehe, chances are the Wave and I won't be completely sober by then, anyway-- might as well keep the buzz goin'. My older brother's Bachelor Party is on Saturday Night.
