Hey, I recognize Drano's name as the one who's running the "Nerf" forum.

HEY! I thought I was the first one to bring Nerf into our churches! (1991). But it looks like someone made the mistake of running around playing when others were in the church/ school/ other. Cessation of Nerf activities. Hum.

cx, I've said it in the past, ripping someone off is the most desperate form of flattery.

On a slightly different note thats pretty funny / lame. And that name Drano is familiar as well.

Yeah, CX, chances are someone, maybe one of the noobs that came on this website, got banned, and flocked somewhere else. They saw how much control you have over this website, and wanted to emulate it to gain respect. I agree with Pineys theory too.

EDIT: Haha(nervous laugh) Drano is on Nerfhaven. He was the one who introduced nerf to our church. Thats why hes the moderator for nerf on our church forum. Oh yea and sorry BK, I don't check my email daily.

Yea, our forums are probabbly actually the inspiration of nerfhaven also.
Our admin got the idea seeing as how our only contact with each other was once a week.

As for our nerf section it has also gotten pretty lame since one of the parents has been really spreading his distain for nerf.(funny how its the parent of our youngest, smallest, most enthused player, who is also one of our better nerfers) Citing of its violence and its potential extrapolation into the use of real firearms. So nerf in our chruch has unfortunately been put on hold until I graduate and come home and make a case before the Decons.


Bust : If your talking about me using big words, yea i was a little pissed that morning my mother brought it to my attention.

I'm a parent.

I WORK for a church. I am also in pastoral ministry.

I have two YOUNG children, and they both Nerf. Pretty well, I might add.

We use modified blasters.

I'll PM you with some advice, and maybe even an endorsement for the deacons regarding the hobby.

But it starts with not talking about your blasters shooting through drywall or drawing blood. For starters, if you have been doing that. If not, you're one step ahead of the game.

Yea we havent been sayin stuff like that with the blood and the drywall.

Pretty much, some parents just dont plain like the fact that we are playing with guns, period.

Which beggs the question, why were the nerf guns hangin aroung in these kids garages in the first place ?

Yeah, looking at our site from here does seem a little creepy, now that you put it .

Thank you, cxwq, for the invite, and Piney, for the help. Although I can't say that I'm one of the regular nerfers at our church, I do miss the sport when I was able participate, and we need all the help we can get to bring it out of cessation. A lot of us seem to have lost a part of ourselves after finding out we couldn't nerf anymore, especially our "youngest, smallest, [and] most enthused player."

That one is from a different original. It's still Elvis the Smoking Skull, but it looks like it's from a photo of someone's tat or something. I made mine from a scan I did of a Lyrics booklet I got from the OBSS. I think there was one album with Elvis on the inside liner as well but I don't remember which album.

I saw a pickup cruising down the freeway the other day with that as a window sticker.
