It holds much better than it looks, especially if you hold the bottom pump tube with your other hand. The at2k's are breeched, and the nf you can just stuff the dart down the barrel with your finger. The e-tape on the at2k barrels is because I didn't have any cpvc couplers, so I just gooped on a piece of pvc that has a much thinner wall than sch. 40 (I don't know what it is- I got a marshmallow shooter for my birthday, which was nice because it had some different types of pvc and some T and 90 degree joints) and then wrapped the cpvc in electric tape until there was a little too much for a tight sliding fit. Then I stuffed it in there, and the electric tape got shoved up into a ridge in front of the pvc, and after a while it just stayed there. You just shove the cpvc into the pvc up to the ridge, so it comes out the same every time and has a nice airtight seal. It works quite well.

When I first saw it, I started thinking "hm... looks like a manta", which got me thinkin, why not put a manta shell on it? Give you a defencive boost and make you more viable for the long haul, provided you guys allow them for defence.

Sage makes an interesting point, Robo. That would also increase the aesthetic factor of the gun, as well as utilizing it's size and shape as a strategic advantage.

Hey new guys. Don't be morons and post in topics that ended from natural causes 9 months ago. It's seriously annoying, makes you look stupid, and as Shindig pointed out, is against the code of conduct.
Attention to detail is the name of the game. Don't be an asshat, read the entire content of a thread, and look at the dates. If the thread endedmonths and was brought back for no apprent reason, as in this case where the reviving post consisted of 'sweet', just let the thread die. Which I suppose is what I should be doing.... crap.

My ammo clips I make are made out of 3x5 index cards. i cut five of them to about 1 3/4 inches. And then I rolled them tightly around my middle finger (but my fingers are small). And then i just duct taped them so now you have a great clip.

I personally like how this thread has been necroed not once, but TWICE. So you can tell that he didn't even read the thread, and if he had, not only would he have seen that necroposts are in violation of the code of conduct, but he also would have seen some pictures of some other really interesting mods that look even better than the original poster's.
I was thinking about doing this, taking two NFs and doing them Manta-style because getting a Manta has become so difficult. I've seen a few custom manta shell homemade as well, which would be awesome. I've never seen any of them finished, though.
