Dang TriggerHappy, that's dead sexy. I'd like to see some more detailed pics of that bad boy.

Edit: Those pics are freakin out dude. Sometimes I get two, sometimes I get one and now none. Bizarre.

And as everyone knows, money makes the world go round. It's also the root of all evil, therefore the world going round is evil, and we should stop the rotation of the planet.

Thanks for the comments on my homemade. I won't be able to add pictures of it for a while; I overused it and the trigger catch broke so I need to get that replaced. And right now I am overencumbered with schoolwork so I can't work on it or any of the other homemades I started.

Bolt loser, could you post how to build your bolt action c02 gun? I understand that it is probably like 20 pages of complicated stuff that i wont be able to understand but If you could put it up please do.

Bolt loser, could you post...

I'm sorry. I'm aware that this is not being productive, but I had to say something. That is just too good.

Boltsniper, believe me, nobody here thinks you're a loser. You're too hardcore for that.

I may eventually put up a pic or two of a homemade to make up for the blatant pointlessness displayed in this post, but I'm not too big oon homemades, so I'll get back to you on that one.

Until then, congratulations Boltsniper, for being the first person I know to be unintentionally called a loser.

That filter is hilarious...

Just got the second coat of paint on it, so it's pretty much done now...it just needs a trigger guard. Here's the SNAP-1:

Really nice! Looks like a german STEN. Really nice but do you have to put the darts in from the tip of the gun? Or is there a clip

Thanks....although I had it pointed out to me that the clip is on the wrong side for Sten (mostly because I shoot left handed, and load right).

It's a muzzle load, but it vacuum feeds with standard Micros. My stefans need to be ramrodded, though (my FBR is too big). The clip is just dart storage, right now...although I hope to eventually work in clip feed.

Check out the "First attempt at a homebrew gun" thread in Homemades. It has the evolution of the gun into what's here, as well as pics of the internals and other parts.

Thanks for the reply. Also to the member who commented that the gun resembled the German Sten. The gun would resemble the British Sten gun as the Germans never produced such a weapon, Just a pet peeve of mine as a real steal shooter.

Description: Single Shot Rifles
Caliber: Nerf Micros, Micro Stefans
Operation: Muzzle Loaded
Propulsion: Compressed Air
Max ROF: Slow as Hell
Max Range: 150 ft + angled
Effective Range: up to 90 ft level
Accurate Range: up to 70 ft level [Varies by user]
Intended Use: Long range defense, ambushes, stalling tactics, etc.

Yeah, pretty simple, nothing special. I am starting to build a 4 shot version of said guns, but using 2" instead of 3" PVC with 2 air chambers, themselves also split in half.

What is the draw pounds of that thing? Anything over 20 and you're looking to tear soft tissue in your arm. You might as well just dry fire the damn thing.

Unless you make some foam covered arrows you won't have the ability to safely use this thing. An arrow dissipates the energy through the shaft and without the arrow that energy will be sent through the arms of the bow and then your arm.

Keep in mind this may happen the tenth time, or the hundredth time, you really think its worth the risk? Ticking time bomb.

But then again you probably already know this from NHQ, at least Matchstick_man has some common sense not to encourage this.

I just kinda wanted to make something as a proof of concept. I never actually use the thing in wars or anything, I just show it to my friends.
This is the bow I used.

The STEN was a British gun distributed to French resistance fighters after the Blitzkrieg forced France to surrender. It was very cheap to produce, made entirely of stamped metal parts.

Very nice rendition of it, however unintentional, Carbon.

Mmm...pictures...

SOBR

Cal. - .42"
Preferred ammo - 3/0 micro Stefans, 1.75" long.
Propulsion method - Internals of an AT2k
Max. range - 70ft (flat)
Max. effective range - 45-55ft (flat)
Other notes - The silencer does indeed work. This thing is quiet, but there is still a "thwop" from the dart leaving the constricted barrel. I will probably be making it a bit better...somehow...

Posted Image
Yes, it will get painted.

--=-=-=--

BSC-LR (WIP)

Cal. - .60"
Preferred ammo - has yet to shoot much of anything really
Propulsion method - Pressurized air, released via coaxial piston valve
Max range - re-estimated 100+yds (flat) with right Stefan
Max. effective range - estimated 170 feet with right Stefan
Other notes - Have yet to get the piston to open. I have tried everything, Oh yeah, the thing is sealed tight as a space station now.

Posted Image
I'll paint it if I can fix it.

--=-=-=--

Homemade BnA

Cal. - any pipe which can be put into 3/4" NPT
Preferred ammo - anything re-damn-diculously light
Propulsion method - spring piston, rotating lock
Max. range - 35ft (flat)
Max. effective range - 25ft
Other notes - was made out of a grease gun, this thing needs more power. I will probably band it later; however, the rod locks by twisting it, so that is limited.

Posted Image
No comment.

--=-=-=--

Le Bloody Massive Cannon

Cal. - 1.5"/.602"
Preferred ammo - many micro Stefans/mega Stefans
Propulsion method - compressed air, 1.5" ball valve.
Max range - TBA/estimated200yds (@130psi) with proper Stefan (angled)
Max effective range - it's seven micro Stefans, duh/80ft (15psi) with current ammo (flat trajectory)
Other notes - 1.5" threaded valve allows many barrels. Deemed unsafe for use with pressures higher than 30psi. The 1.5" barrel can hold 7 micro Stefans for a mega-shotgun blast. Anyone coming to MidMI will experience that first hand, by the way...
Doubles as artillery. Now I need to make an air-burst round...
