As for girlfriends... heh. I have mixed feelings. The last girlfriend I had dumped me after three months because I didn't e-mail her while I was on vacation. Summary: The ride was fun, but at the end the track shattered and the cart collided into a gigantic stack of dynamite.

I feel sorry for you guys who speak out of bad experience.
Not in the game anymore, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks for the great years of fun, NH!

I of course don't have a girlfriend, since I am only 13. This is because I am, by almost anyone's standards, a geek. You might think, "Well, as long as you are a nice, good person, people will like you for who you are." Well, this may be true for someone who is in high school or their twenties, but the problem is, people in 7th grade are SO DAMN SHALLOW. Besides, the most people do when "going out" at this age is walk to the Friendly's restaurant down the street from school. I believe if people are mature enough, they can have a steady relationship in high school, or sometimes even 8th grade. But, until then, people will still pretend to date. I do not feel the need to have a girlfriend, because judging by the way most 7th grade "relationships" go, it wouldn't be worth it. Chatting online and getting $5.00 chicken fingers at the neighborhood eatery just doesn't appeal to me. When I tell people this, they just call me weird, but I don't care. To quote Paul McCartney, "I used to think the people doing weird things were weird, but now I realize the people who call them weird are the real weirdos."
I feel ya, buddy. 7th grade totally blew for me in terms of relationships, too. Just don't bother with them yet. Things got better in 8th grade, on account of I changed schools, probably. I have to agree with you that there aren't a lot of things to do with a relationship. I just did a few things like go to parties that my friends were having, and although that was pretty fun, I think things would just get better once you can drive. People also take relationships more seriously at that age, usually. So, a relationship can be fun and successful, but I just have to say, it isn't worth the risk of getting your heart crushed if the most you're going to do is fake a yawn to put your arm over her shoulder at a movie theater. I would just wait until high school at least if you're going for a serious relationship. People will also realize what asswipes they were and accept you for who you are (mind you this is based on my 17 year old sister's words, but from what I've seen, it all seems true). Good luck with whatever you do, man.

I didn't have an actual, serious, steady GF until I met user #3.
My age at the time? 20.
I didn't have any significant relationships of any kind until I started college.
Middle school is for playing D&D with your buddies and HS just sucks balls. College is where it starts getting good.

I was going to say something about the futility of relationships in hs and ms (due to the common stupidity shared among students) but I didn't know how to phrase it.

On the Girlfriend thing, I think people put far to much stock in relationships. You guys gotta watch less movies, and stop taking books so friggin' seriously. You'll end up with someone when you end up with them. There's not nessecarily a time and date, but don't sweat it.
But because this thread has gotten about as gay as it can get, I will put in a new comment to hopefully regain it's glory. Japanesse beer is evil. Especially if you drink two duces in an hour.

Corona isn't bad. There are alot worse, but seeing as I've put enough Old E in my system to fuel a tank, my opinion is slightly skewed. I will say that I've never had a beer I down right didn't like. Some I don't perfer, but past Budwiser, I would drink them if it was there.
Personally, I'm a beer snob. Other then Yuengling (that really doesn't count though), I pretty much don't drink regularly distributed beer.
