Ask yourself, out of all the online nerf people, who was the most influential? Was it Stefan? Or how about the Hal,Spoon,Vacc,Cxwq,Talio,Snaped crowd? Shadow Nerf Company? Andy Grau or Erci Stryker's nerf reviewed? Was it the webmaster of the original nerf world or foam weapons arsenal which was probably the first nerf site around? Zerotalent? I'll post my opinion, but right now I want to see what everyone else has to say and we'll narrow it down to 10 people. Trust me its not going to be a waste of bandwidth.

I'm sorry to come accross as an ass, but this has been done before. Try the search function.

Stefan would be a bit boring for an answer, so I'd give props to Hal. Even though he's a slack ass bitch.

Well, why not do it again? I just want to get a good discussion started and I'm certain it will not be identical to the last.

Snaped doesn,t even belong in there,he's just a lurker with a Goodwill obsession-The others have all made a positive....well,at least a contribution to this.Anyway-anyone taking time and money out of their life to support a community all deserve respect.

Sofaking, son't be so hard on yourself. I was just putting out names. Snaped's nerf arsenal and advice with his crazy pics of like 7 ultimators lined up are quite valuable though. Nerfhq and Nerfhaven are the best yet probably, but don't forget foam modified's great innnovations. Truth is, without cxwq and Talio people would't be able to show their ideas to such a mass market. My vote goes to cxwq. Any of you guys remember the classic polarized personalities like starbucks, comrade lobster, and Dr. Genius? I love nostalgia.....

Feel free to kiss someone elses ass. As much as I appreciate the call out, I'd rather you all get out and Nerf occasionally, then tell me I'm an influence. If I haven't motivated one person to pick up a gun and get a friend in the back yard, then I am simply a failure. It's all for nothing unless you use it.

:D Of course! Talio is obviously the most influentual because he's so active not only in that he answers A LOT of forums but he gives helpful advise. Nobody else has done so much for me in the online world of nerf. :D

Did anyone here actually know all these people? Have any of you sat down and had chats with the guys on this list? Isn't it a little bit of a stretch to vote on the most influential nerfer when you really don't even undestand their contributions? Stefan's darts, while most easily identified with him, were hardly the guy's big gift to nerf. He began the "NIC" for christ sake. Ever heard of the nerf list-serve? Nerfonline was just a side project on a highschool server (then again...cent.org) created by a guy who never really nerfed until the Nerf-list. Stefan created this community, not to mention the catch phrase often attributed to yours truly.

You don't have to know them to know they contributed to/influenced the NIC. What Stefan or you or CX or whoever are like in person has little to do with the fact that I know how to make cheap homemade darts, use brass effectively and, uh...make a bigass Crossbow integration.

*giggle* Stefan's so cool! */giggle*

I'm disgusted at my name even being mentioned. Yakman owns my ass on the "super-exclusive [fanboy-generated] NIC ladder of coolness."

No, the name does not ring, and that's because Yakman owns my ass.
