Ok, I made a homemade a while back but I am tired of the slow ROF so I came up with two ideas for a different barrel. I made a write-up for the gun I made and sent it to C. It should be done so.
Here is a pic of it
Alittle insite on my gun...
  • My gun has a removable, single shot barrel
  • it shots really hard
  • it can shot about 25-50 yards. If you guys want a real exact measurement let me know
One more thing... I used markers in the making of my diagram.

Idea A:

Idea B:

Arn't the two designs basically identical?

Not entirely new concepts, these are what everyone has thought of, including myself.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures.

:( Hey, at least you posted pictures. Have a cookie!

I wouldn't eat his cookies if I were you.

I strongly urge changing the materials though, you'll understand why if you try to build it with yours. If you have SCH80PVC that fits around 9/16 brass, that would be the perfect candidate for what you're doing right now.

Design A has a piece brass pushing the dart forward.
Design B's dart fulls into the 1/2 inch PVC.
What are better materals then what I thought of using?

Materials already explained there, with your intelligence, you should be able to figure out what parts they would replace in your design. And I have Econ homework to do so I can't really explain anything at the moment.

I might sound alittle dumb but what is the ID/ OD or what ever of the SCH80PVC?

I believe the ID is 19/32", and the OD is uhh...same as sch40, which is...hang on (running to my room to measure) looks like 13/16" but you can probably get a more accurate measurement from someone else.

Hey guys,
long time no see... amyway, i cannot see what all the difficulty over breechloaders is.
This http://www.xinventio...spud/breech.htm is a good one, the one i use in fact. fairly easy to make, work out sizes and the such you need fopr your gun, any q's... drop me a line.

this same basic concept can be used to push a dart into the barrael, just flip it all around.

btw... my gun is a replica of the p.a.c. 3 ( the one on the site ), and is soo good. i gets shots well over a hundred meters wiith deadly accuracy. have a look around that place... it has some great stuff

The ideas presented in this thread are nothing new, so don't flatter yourself, Ironman.

WOW don't now what that gun is but that is fricken awesome im thinking about making one myself. Now that is what i would call a good homemade for wars. I want directions to build the "P.A.C 3". Whoever built it. Only thing i think is kinda sucky is the trigger but that gun stock and the tank it all fits its beautiful. All ill do is find an alternative for the trigger system. Other then that I want to copy it!

hey,
the trigger system is actuall very good, it is just aa push button swith on the handle (the 45 deg. pvc piece) used to engage the electronics. it only takes a very small tap on this switch and it fires. the only thing you have to make sure thaat the switch has to bee held down to operate so it doesn't leet out all you air after one click.
if you need any info just ask me about it.

Will that piping work for both ideas?
Do any of you guys think those ideas will work?

Pvc and Brass don't seal too well with each other. You will need an o-ring at the rear of the bolt.

Other than that, you will also need to make sure that your bolt does not catch the dart above the breeched one. You could do that by rounding the rears of each dart a little.
