I saw the Artemis Arms Mountain Rifle mod and I have some questions as to how the bolt mechanism works. The topic is quite old. Should I:
a) Necro the topic.
b) Start a new, partially redundant one.
c) PM the creator.

Normally, I'd just PM, but it's not really a personal thing; I think that it has enough potential interest to enough people to merit a topic, though those options have problems.

And yes, I am aware that it is slightly ironic to ask about avoiding a gravedig in a topic that's been inactive for a year, but I'm hoping that stickies are a bit different. ^_^;

If you ask me, I think...
1.) Only post in a dead topic if it's a sticky, and even then use discression.
2.) Unless it actually has something to do with someone personally, don't PM.

I may be wrong, but that's the way I see it.

He had a valid question, cut him some slack. From what I've heard, you can revive a stickied thread no problem, as long as it is something valid.

I would consider sending a PM to the person who made the gun, or someone who had a good understanding of the concept. Try to avoid another thread, as it will help fill up the forum.

I'd say a good one to start out with would be the Tech Target because it has good acuracy and range. It go a 9 out of 10 at....... denoffoam.tripod.com !!!!
