I'm at a shrotage of words right now, so this may be wierd, try to tough it out.
HOLY CRAP! It's less than two weeks away from the greatest thing that will probably ever happen in my life! I think I may just crap my pants. Yes Halo 2 is out next tuesday. You have no idea how freakin excited I am. This is like my whole life. This weekend I'm picken up X-box live, then next tuesday, my reign of terror will begin. I just watched the new trailer that was released today and almost cried, seriously. If they pull some crap on me and delay the game for the third time, I will probably slit my throat (kidding). Anyway, yeah it's definately going to destroy every other other game ever made, ever. That's just my opinion, not to piss anyone off.
Yeah that's about it, I just needed to get that off my chest... 11 FRICKEN' DAYS WOOOOOOHOOOOO!!

This guy I know, knows a ton of video game and computer store owners. He gets a lot of good deals from these owners. This time he ended up getting Halo 2 last tuesday. He said it is the best game that he has ever played in his life. I am trying to get closer and closer to him so maybe he will invite me over.

Or I will just wait until it comes out on PC. When is that going to be anyway?

Well, I already made a thread about this sometime ago. You could have just posted in that one and gave it new life, but, it doesn't really matter.

Halo 2 will be amazing. But with Half-Life 2 coming out just days later, it will have some feirce competition.

I know a bunch of people who have played the leaked French version and they have all find it to be perfect. I quote "The best first person shooter I have ever played."
As for me, I want to wait the remaining 9 days beacuse playing the French version now is like opening a Christmas present on Decmber 2nd.

Bungie has said that it won't come out for PC ever, but who knows.

Threads like this make me cry. You see, last x-mas I got an X-Box. W00t! I was happy. Then I leave for college and my parents decide that I should leave it here since they paid for it and my sister plays it (tho she DOESNT). I thought that huge black box was mine, but I apparently was mistaken. No Halo 2 for me.

I know how you feel tho. With Half Life 2 around the corner (Im not trying to start another debate) I can feel my heart rate increase when I think about it. I told my friend that I seriously might orgasm when I first play it. What a great year.

Birth was great only because it enabled us to play these games. Happy marriage is what stops us from being able to play. Its the time between birth and marriage that is truly happy, for it is the time of gaming. Glorious.

Heh, hell my computer has a 3.4ghz HT processor and it still lags on Halo. Microsoft just did a shit poor job porting the game to the system it was originally designed for.

Even so, my computer just sucks. I've never played an online multiplayer game on it that hasn't lagged beyond belief, it really is annoying.

I have my copy of Halo 2 preordered. Too bad I can't play Xbox Live due to my Xbox being modded. Does anyone know if it still supports LAN play like the first one?

Which explains why Fable didn't completely live up to its hype. I think it's still a pretty good game, but the designers promised so many things when they first announced it.

Usually, gaming companies are worst about release dates when they make press releases. Wasn't Doom 3 and Halo 2 supposed to have been out over a year ago? Not to mention World of Warcraft.

BULLSHIT!! it was originally made for Macintosh, as the fourth chapter in the unbelievably underappreciated Marathon series, until M$ bought Bungie out.

more directly on topic: Halo 2 is not that good. i've played a leak: same engine, same style of play, slightly upgraded weapons, no better storyline. it's not even a good enough update to be a worthwhile expansion pack.
Microsoft can't bloody develop things. all they can do is buy, steal, and repackage in a crippled form. halo is unfortunately no exception.

Hate to bursty your bubble okto, but Halo was being released on the mac and windows platforms at the same time. It was not made just for the mac, although its predicessors were.

Im pretty sure they did say Halo was coming out for PC, they just never said when, and thats where they got tricky. Sure, it did, it just took so long no one cared.
