Does anybody else have a problem with the 26th? How about the 22nd? If you don't speak now your opinion won't be considered.
Anya, where do you live? The school is about 1.5 hours north of SD proper, I believe. It's in Irvine - I'll post up an address and directions in a day or two. Mapquest doesn't handle the school's address very well but I'll do a screencap and move the star to the right place and post it here.

If so, then we'll go with the 22nd. Spoon is fine with that, I am fine with that, Ray is fine with that, nobody else has mentioned any specific problems with the day.

In regards to the 22, most likely I can go...but I may only go for part day, or full day. I have guitar lessons on wednesday, and I'm fixing up tunes for some gigs so...meh. I'll either skip the lesson (which is most likely) or I'll miss the war (highly un-likely). Count me in at the moment, and I'll talk to my "peeps" and convince them to let me go.So you're saying that if it's the 22nd you'll definitely be there?

We will have the war on the inferior, but otherwise agreeable 22nd.
A Wednesday.
10-5.
Venado.

Steph probably can't come on the 22nd but could come on the 26th. I can't find if this year's winter solstice is Dec 21 or 22. If it's the 22nd then she won't be there. I can still make either date. It seems I'm too late though, so I'll talk to her. I need to check the boards more often.

so she's some sort of snow-sorceress? i can just imagine her in a horse-drawn carriage out in the middle of Narnia, luring kids to their doom with Turkish delight.I can't find if this year's winter solstice is Dec 21 or 22. If it's the 22nd then she won't be there.

Venado is the name of the school.
I think it's about an hour drive for you.

SoCal has lost its spot at the center of the nerfing universe. Now it's somewhere in a goddamn New Jersey suburb. Pathetic.

Because they aren't technicly(sp?) nerf guns. Also have you ever been shot by a powerful homemade? It isn't fun.Why were they banned?

A homemade can be made to produce relatively arbitrary velocity. Modded Nerf guns are much easier to categorize.
We allow anything that is powered, be it air tank or plunger, by a Nerf or Nerf-like part except where noted otherwise.
We specifically disallow brass/PETG/copper sm5ks.
We will probably add Titans to the above if they are as capable as sm5ks.
We allow stefans that have relatively spherical weights that are completely covered with hot glue tips. We specifically disallow tacks, screws, powerloads, and anything else that would be particularly dangerous if it came free from the FBR during flight.
We require that eyewear be used at all times during a war.
All of the above is aimed at making this a relatively safe and fun sport for all participants.
