Hello NH,

I have been searching for quite some time trying to find a nerf club/annual war in the Portland area of Maine, Usa. I have found one 14 year old kinda-friend who tries to mod, and i really dont know if he does it well. Thats all. No groups or anything. And i do know that theres some people who mod up here, but either their all hermits, or im a really bad researcher.

Thanks in advance,
Silly, the potato fueled modder.

Edit: i do faintly remember a Bangor nerf war flyer at the supermarket a few years ago.

Hi Silly,

There is a group that does nerf wars around Portland a few times a year. Usually in Payson park or one of the other parks around the Portland suburbs. The facebook link is: https://www.facebook...50104891918003/Currently we don't have a event scheduled but as the snow starts to melt we'll start planning when to have our first war of the year. Most of the players run stock but we do allow super stock at the organizers digression. I run a stryfe off a 3s so as long as your not shooting people point blank with a heavily modded blaster it's normally not a problem.

We hope to see you on the battlefield,

Telerran

Great!
I may be able to come sometime, but no guarantees. This would be my first war, so do you mind giving me a quick explanation of the super stick class of nerf mods? The search bar for me is broken on the site right now, so I can't look up the answer.

Super stock pretty much just means full-length darts and that we are wary of homemades and blaster with homemade internals. If you looking at posts with fps number I'd say 120-130 fps maybe a little higher if your careful about using your secondary when your up close.

So my homemade internals crossbow I'm working on wouldn't be allowed, but, say, my rscb non-plugged Titan or my raider is fine?
